same issue here tho, got home from work and have been trying to connect for the last 20 mins. Nothing. My friends are on playing :frowning:

Possible workaround (just worked for me a moment ago)!

Instead of launching WoW through the BNet launcher:
+ Go to your WoW Installation folder.
+ Launch with the WoW Icon
+ Manually enter your login information (and authenticator code if you have one)

Update: If you get in don’t logout. Reopened WoW after successfully getting in to update mod and know I can’t login in despite this step :frowning:

This is true, though for shiggles I did try to connect with OBS open hoping I’d get in so I could falsely claim that’s why all the streamers are in rn…

Regrettably my joke did not net a successful login and I’m not about to pretend it worked just to bait people with false hope.

Also, server - Stormrage. It’s a Blizzard problem compounded by heavy traffic.

This is entirely anecdotal and could be total coincidence but, the suggestion to not use BNet to login and instead use WoW authentication directly (manually enter your password) worked for me. This may actually be a valid technical solution because it’s possible that the problem is the single sign on functionality between the BNet launcher and the individual games it serves. Possibly something with SAML or godknowswhattheyuse. It’s still totally possible it’s a coincidence, but this one has far more potential than anything involving release/renew/flushdns/qos/wtf/cache/whatever I’ve seen so far. Because I can tell you as someone who’s been working with networks and client server applications for 25 years, those won’t do jack.
