I literally thought it was one of my addons or something causing this. as I have been playing classic a lot lately. I can’t believe they let this slip through its annoying as hell, so thanks for the temp fix guys Blizzard needs to sort this one out ASAP

You can also set it “permanently” if you want by editing the config.wtf file in the folder

.\World of Warcraft\_retail_\WTF\

Add this line:

SET rawMouseEnable "0"

In shadowlands you will be able to play with control pad, so i bet that this autotargeting and camera issue its because they are introducing the new imputs for that task, but something went wrong and its affecting mouse behaviour too.

Glad I found this thread. The “/console rawMouseEnable 0” worked for me for now.

console rawmouseenable 0 also worked for me.

But of course, now the mouse sensitivity is jacked and the mouse randomly resets to the center of the screen. There was a reason I was using rawmouseenable 1 and it’s because rawmouseenable 0 mode is garbage.

Hopefully they will fix this soon.

Sometimes my mouse also seems to stick to NPCs, chests or anything that can be interacted with. Was having this issue before setting RawMouseEnable, and still having it after. It seems to happen at random, and never had it happen before today’s patch.

I’m also experiencing this issue. It ONLY exists when moving my character.

e.g. If I am moving my character with WASD any mouse input will move the camera (as if you’re holding down right-click).

after the new patch arrived, I started to rotate the camera when I press W / A / S / D, then I used the command “/ console rawMouseEnable 0” and normalized it, but after that another problem started, or the cursor started to stick to targets / looting. This is horrible, I have no desire to play!

so i went on vacation for a bit and came back. my cursor is randomly stuck sometimes. for example i will move it left and instead of moving like normal it will just stay put slightly moving back and forth really fast like it is twitching. the only way I have found atm to fix this on the fly is to stop moving my mouse and start again. it stays ok for maybe 20 seconds then happens again.

I have tried on other games and it does not happen on overwatch, eso, or ffxiv. only wow. i have disabled all addons and scanned the game for repairs. nothing seems to fix it. any help would be appreciated. i am putting a link to an imgur where i show on my phone camera (sry thats the best i can do) what it looks like. It does not seem like a giant deal, but as someone who like to arena often it can be very frustrating when I am trying to click on a grounding totem capacitor totem or something really fast to kill it and my cursor just wont move

here is the imgur:

also i want to say what I am doing in the video is just a process to try and reproduce the glitch for the video

edit: ive tried 3 mouses and it happens on all of them

Just made a post about the same thing. Nothing fixes it and it only just started after reset.

I have had it happen on classic before back in April but no idea how I fixed it. Didn’t care too much cuz it was just classic and not retail.

Happy I’m not the only one with this tho.

Edit: My friend from the arena forums says this is a problem on the beta as well
Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Also have similar mouse issues after maintenance. Every time I use the arrow keys to move, the pointer “sticks” and acts as if I am holding the left mouse button down moving my camera everywhere.

I’m having the exact same issue. Just started after maintenance.

Likewise, I tried using the following command to fix it, but nothing improved.

/console rawMouseEnable 0

Looks like we are all having the same problem ? using keys to move but if you move the mouse while moving the camera moves with it … like if you hold the left button while moving . it’s painful when trying to click npcs and stuff

This issue was driving me crazy and still is. I looked everywhere to see if there was some camera issue but it just started happening after today. Has anyone figured out a fix bc it is annoying to target anything as it “sticks” while moving even auto running.

i changed my mouse just to make sure , and looked everywhere in the interface if there was a new option . this is definetly a problem with the new patch , can’t even disable it on the mouse itself since it is part of the mouse movement and not a key

I have the same problem, after the last patch

What did blizzard do to cause this lmao
