So i’m thinking it isn’t everyone getting booted, ppl are saying in chat some can’t get in, whilst right now i’m in but not able to do anything (massive lag spikes, screwed up a TW dungeon run from my lag etc)

I believe the second time last night was just a massive lag spike. I was unable to do anything in game for a few minutes and then it seemed to resolve itself. Although I think intermittent lag issues may have persisted as I was in game and did see others mention lag in chat. I was also watching a stream and the boss looked completely bugged out / frozen.

For me I wasnt able to join the RBG when it popped.

The second time was the same as the first. Two of us in the group are on Frostmourne and we were both affected in the same way.

I closed out of WoW and went back in to find my characters missing on Frostmourne (like others on here). Closed and reopened WoW a few times until they eventually appeared.

Once back in, the RBG was still running with everyone else in the team playing, but I had no way to enter the battleground. Clicking the green eye presented a greyed out option to ‘leave battleground’. After the team lost the match, I also lost rating.

Tonight no dcs but the server is lagging so bad I literally can’t do a thing. Tried to kill the world boss and I was no joke a minute behind what was actually happening.

Has anyone had the same issue since the start of Season 2? I haven’t been on a great deal since, but I haven’t had this issue for the last 2 weeks. Interested to see if this is still ongoing or not.

I have not been on as much as I’d have liked, but perhaps they have increased the load for 10.1 patch launch, so far I haven’t been disconnected, I did speak to support, and they recommended to run an WinMTR for when the issue is occuring to gain more “data” incase it is an ISP issue(which we know it is not, because we can login to other servers fine e.g. Barthilas) but there isn’t much point when it hasn’t happened so far. They also did confirm that this is a known issue for extremely highly populated servers such as frostmourne when the capacity gets too high. Doesn’t really sound fair though if that is the case, given we pay for the sub, iot should just work outside of maintenance hours no?. Let’s hope the issue was somehow stealth patched due to 10.1, but we’ll see.

I’ve tried to get in touch with support again, to let them know I will monitor the issue from my end, but I can’t seem to lodge the ticket and you can’t just reply a GM’s email to the no reply address…

J.H if you see this, thank you for your assistance RE. “US91541488” I will keep monitoring the issues, and should I have a problem relodge ticket with ref and provide whatever info is necessary to get this fixed on Blizzard’s end.

Had my MS spiked to 5000 durning the beginning of a pug key, cast time delays can also be more than 10 seconds. Of course I got disconnected and booted, but for a few minutes somehow, I couldn’t reconnect because “world server is down”. What’s frustrating is that this happens pretty randomly through the days.

Note that I play from Southeast Asia and not Aus/NZ which amplifies the spikes and internet demand.

same DC’d after a 38 min solo shuffle que (that someone left after first 2 rounds rip ) and havent been able to get back on sense . It just kills all motivation to even want to play the game

Gotta love paying for a game and getting this crap every other week. Activision-Blizzard, a multi-billion dollar company, can’t be arsed spending any money on their services, just keep whipping their trash tier servers from 2007 until they burn out.

You have packet loss on 5 hops and awful worst ping on everything else. At this point your ISP is just hot dog water and you need to call them. Not saying it couldn’t be two issues but you 100% have an ISP issue.

And again these issues start as soon as it leaves your router so the ISP issue could easily be your whole issue. Either neighborhood issue or cabling etc.

PS you issues start right in your neighborhood so I am highly doubting the ocean issues below as your cause.

Thank you all for the reports; the Frostmourne issues are stemming from an issue that I shared in a related thread a few weeks ago:

The submarine cable impacting the region is still pending full repair. While these repairs are handled by another party, hopefully we’ll have more promising news to share soon.
