If this doesn’t get resolved today and is ignored over the weekend it will be inexcusable…I’ve now seen it’s not just us having this issue, there are a variety of different forum posts talking about this…it should be priority #1, and it should have employees on it 24/7 until it is fixed, regardless if it is a weekend or a night. It’s just ludicrous that they will elect to leave this many people without being able to even start the game for the sake of a few vanity items…absolutely unbelievable
Did this work for anybody else?
Reinstalling bnet app did not work. Idk why it would you can bypass the launcher and launch from the wow app which doesn’t work. I suspect the person that did it was already able to log in and didn’t check again before reinstalling the app.
Just a guess but makes sense to me.
Not for me, nor did the -windowed cmd
This situation is ridiculous and sad. We all get that Apple is unfriendly to game developers, and consider it fair if a developer decides not to release for Macs. No harm in that.
But don’t sell us a product then abandon us. Don’t scam us, multi billion company.
No change from last night’s build (10.0.5.47849) and the “-windowed” option is not a solution.
Likely no fix until next week.
The real sad part is the lack of press around this, it’s now obvious which publications are being paid off. No mention of this anywhere. “We’re trying” doesn’t cut it when it’s advertised as a supported product.
My Mac is doing the same thing. I can launch classic. And classic WOTLK but not Dragonflight
Ever since the update

I’ve opened a ticket 2 days ago on Blizz support:
1st ticket:
I can’t believe this…
I’ve posted already a ticket for support and is not showing on " MY TICKETS".
So i’m posting it AGAIN!
Since the last update i cant load the game from the Blizz App.
I received a BOT and automathic response from support that didn’t helped AT ALL.
I’m a MAC OS system user.
I play for 11 years and never had issues of this type regarding WOW.
I pay religiously my subscription EVERY MONTH.
WHY can’t i play the game? The problem i’m living is the same as many others MAC users have experiencing since the last update as can be checked in WOW forum.
I dont have anti virus or /and drivers needing updates.
I uninstalled the game and installed it again. Nothing changed. The problem is the same. Blizz app can’t load the game.
Please someone HUMAN address this issue.
I need to play the game that i deeply like and PAY.
You should treat an OLD and faithful customer with REAL SUPPORT.
There are days that are horrible…This is one of those.
Please adress my issue.
I’ve done EVERYTHING your bot automatic told me to do.
The ball it’s on your side now.
2nd Ticket update: - 13 hours later and it is still NOT fixed…
Error:

3rd Ticket update (14h ago): - SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!
You guys are very successful in making people disgusted.
Still no fix.
What the hell are you doing?
Blizz answer?
Blizz just cancelled my ticket…
Will all the MAC users be able to get these days we are missing added back to our accounts ?? Probably not…smh
Make/Model of the system: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
Processor: 2.9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

OS Version: Big Sur 11.5.1
Submitted ticket yesterday, awaiting response
Hope these days get added back to our accounts
It’s not all Macs. There’s no way to know from their end who to compensate.
We probably have to ask individually. I usually do.
They’re aware of the issue, and are (or will be?) working on a fix. This has happened before, and it probably will again. It is impossible for them to make it work for just one player, so we’re all dead in the water until it’s fixed and patched for every Mac user.
Mac issues are never priority #1 with Blizzard. I predict there will be a patch sometime next week that will correct the issue, just like last time (and next time).
Yup, Omegal has been probably the single most helpful Mac poster in the past 4 years that I’ve seen on these forums. He always has useful information(some of it inside) and supports the community. Please support him or her back!
Since players can still access Classic, Blizzard should add an xp bonus until it is fixed. Come on Blizzard something!?
RE: MacOS upgrade to Monterey - I’d continue to hold off, if a lower version is serving you well. I’m still running Catalina, and have the Big Sur upgrade installer, but am holding off on moving to that, as Catalina is behaving well enough.
Yes, but “LOG-IN” issues should be priority #1 as people have said, before focus is put on whether everyone’s xmog issues are showing up correctly in the Trial of Style…
