One of my guildies is “stuck” in Netherstorm, he’s having the worst issue of all with it. But I think nearly all of us have had the issue at one point or another. Seems to clear up after several hours, but it’s still a pain. At least I don’t feel alone in the guild when I log in at off hours, their names are still there, keeping me company with their ghosts lol

Hey everyone,

I wanted to followup that the investigation to this is ongoing though I understand some some fixes were pushed already.

If you are still experiencing the loading screen/login and disconnection issues on character in specific zones, please try the stuck character service once more and if that does not work/solve the issue, reply back to this thread with character names and which specific zones they are in.

Been experiencing same issues since last tuesday slow loading on moon guard even on an nvme SSD, but i did everything you can imagine from resetting the UI, rename the folders etc, even reformated my pc and did a fresh install of everything and still slow loading on Moon Guard. Wyrmrest Accord loads fast but only MG is slow for some reason would think today’s maintenance fixed this issue but nope same old issue

I am still having these issues as of July 4th. I am on Silver Hand server. The random disconnects/desyncs happen regardless of whether I’m in an instance or in the open world, or in town.

1. I have not been able to determine if there is a specific trigger for it. The desync happens sometimes while I’m flying around, sometimes in the middle of combat, sometimes just sitting idle somewhere while alt+tabbed looking something up

2. I can still move around, but skills don’t do anything and mobs stop moving and do not appear if I move into a different area. Buff and debuff timers stop at 0 and never go away. This limbo state persists until I alt+f4 or get booted to login.

3. I’ve tested it and have had it last as long as 10 minutes before booting me to the login screen saying I have been disconnected. Attempts to relogin fail until I close and reopen the game app. Then I get the “that character already exists” for 5ish minutes until I’m able to log back in.

It is not my internet connection, as I am able to log in to other games and use the web just fine. It’s just WoW. This has been happening since the maintenance last week June 27th.

Been getting all type of weird dcs recently. Some where chat stays connected, some where my char stays in game and i cant log back in. Some weird stuff

I had the same issue. I waited 2 days to see if Blizzard would find a fix. I finally decided to do a complete UI reset. I copied some of my saved variables files to my desktop for some of my addons that are hard to set up and then did a full UI reset, basically taking the game to a fresh install. It fixed my character that would not log out and was stuck in game.

From everything I’ve read, I suspected a corrupted file somewhere and probably an addon. The only addon I still had an issue with after the fresh install was Bagnon and I know that there have been many issues with bag related addons since the release of DF. It is one of the addons that I had copied the original saved variables so I didn’t have to set up across multiple characters again.

I went back and deleted Bagnon and all saved variables related to it.

My issue is now fixed.

I think it’s starting to happen again. It’s not kicking me out, but the loading screen is starting to take longer and longer again

i found the problem. it is the router. when that gets old, there would be not likely to work anymore. so get it replaced. then problem solved.
