Recently got a second account to cut mail times for the hour, but i’ve been reading that between characters on your account there will be no mail time. Is this true? What else can I use this second account for if that is the case?
I tried finding when it was changed to instant, but no luck.
I don’t remember from personal experience though.
EDIT: Just found it, it was 2.1.3, so TBC classic will have instant mail between characters on the same account

I think that happened firing TBC. I’m hoping it’s gonna come with the prepatch, along witb extra mail boxes.
One mailbox in all of Darnassus is plenty.
Gotta get those steps in some how.

So far in beta it’s still an hour’ish. So just like guild banks it looks to not be implemented yet.
TBC still have 1 hour mail, between characters of same or any account.
Still Vanilla snail mail. (Beta is beta tho)
So glad that this Level 11 troll account found it’s way to another forum to speak nonsense. Just like the drums complaints people had, you’re wrong again! TBC (2.1.3) adds instant mail between your characters (same account). This should be LIVE in TBC Classic. I don’t have beta, but even if it’s not on beta (yet), this doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Stop trolling the forums!!
Wow I didn’t know that. I have some good news to tell someone who never played TBC and is going to try it out now that they have time to play the game.
From the Streamers on beta I’ve seen, it’s not currently in the beta. But like someone above said, wouldn’t take that to mean zero chance in TBC. Personally still think it’ll be in game.
No reason for it not to be, it existed in the first half of tbc.
In account mail time show go down to near real time in BC.
In the beta mail is still 1 hour.
Use a second account and boost alts on that account using your main. I’ll usually grab a few other similarly leveled folks when I’m doing it and boost them for free along with my alt.
