No surprise folks still bugging and I have spoke to others in game that had the same thing happen. Also, no response from blizzard on any of the threads related to this issue that I have found. I have also submitted an actual ticket.

Bumping this is absurd. Blizz needs to fix this or not allow people to enter this instance so new players do not waist their time. Just make the mog purchaseable with honor if they are not going to fix it.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to report this to us. Iâm sorry to hear if youâve had trouble with this, weâre players here too and know how annoying bugs can be at times so itâs much appreciated when itâs reported to us!
I took a look at this for you and it does not appear to be anything that our development team is aware of at the moment. I have added a report to our testers based on your ticket, so it should hopefully be looked at soon. 
We are currently getting more reports and trying to gather more information from these, so hopefully the issue can be identified soon and fixed, as you say itâs also got some forum reports now too, and still matters to many people who are looking to get through the BFA content and Transmog collections.
Donât forget we have simplified the way you can report any kind of bug from within the game by the way. All you have to do is simply to click the red question mark button as when you wish to create a ticket, but instead then click the option to âSubmit Feedbackâ, as that will take you to an interface where you can report exactly what is bugged for you and it will be sent directly to our testers instead of having to go through us, ensuring a faster process. ^^
Itâs basically exactly the same as youâve just done here, itâs just faster. If the bug is already known, it will add your report to the investigation as well and if we are not aware of it yet, your report will start a new investigation, automatically.

I put in a ticket for this as well. Got the normal check online blah blah blah waste of my time response after two days. Then took a week later and got yet another useless response where they deny itâs a known issue and ask to report the bug. The report the bug tool is just a method they use and encourage so they donât get as many web tickets. I report bugs all the time and theyâre never fixed. This is a ridiculous issue though because itâs a colossal waste of peoplesâ time. This has been a known issue since 2018 and has had blues respond (Here is the url to the original post - Battle for Darkshore bugged out - Support / Customer Support - World of Warcraft Forums (blizzard.com). They made it into newer content here in shadowlands to make it easier to do with less people but didnât bother to still fix the bug from four years ago even when it was current content in its expansion. This event is not up often and is one of the only ways to get currency for mounts, etc. It makes it not able to be completed. Even if itâs just this specific boss - it makes achievements unattainable. If you even google âMaiev - battle for Darkshore bugâ you get a whole history of reports on forum, etc. Yet they have the gull to say itâs not a known issue and just point you to report a bug. I donât know what we pay a subscription for, but it definitely isnât quality customer service or fixing bugs in a timely manner and keeping all content âPlayableâ. The GMs in the original game were a lot more helpful and got resolutions compared to this. Now all anyone does is say it isnât their department, isnât their issue⌠and it never gets fixed because no one takes ownership.

I can understand how frustrating it must have been not being able to complete the quest as it comes up so rarely and I would love to help you with this.
Checking the quest here I found no currently known issues with Warfront: The Battle for Darkshore though, specially if the endboss doesnât work there would be more reports as its required to defeat Maiev.
Unfortunately I canât mark the quest as complete for you, as the criteria wasnât met, and would have to ask you to report it as a bug via the Help Menu as to let the Developers have a look at this.
I do hope youâll be able to complete it the next time it comes up of course and wish you all the best!

Just wasted like an hour and half soloing this crap after my team left only to have the boss continuously go unattackable and despawn, really want the elite armor set but if itâs not possible just remove it from the game pls

Well,⌠I can say that with absolute honesty that the release of the Dragonflight patch.
This is still horrendously broken. Just did it with another group hoping for my quest completion. Nope,⌠guess not. Guess they only care about new content and not breaking the old stuff.

I ran this today for the first time (came back recently) and this happened to us. Three times, in fact. We eventually gave up, wasting the entire scenario time investment.
Iâm kind of shocked how⌠shabby the game is now. Iâm kind of surprised when I try to do something and itâs NOT broken. Phasing issue, dialogue not playing, logging out while in flight and logging in in freefall (that was fun), just all kinds of bugs and errors, a constant stream of them.
