Thank you for your reclarification.
I definitely agree with you in a standard game. They did this in Diablo 4 for season 0 and I was irate about it. So I get where you’re coming from. If they started tweaking era after a fresh, I’d be with you as well. I think it’s completely in line with SoD tho.
There’s a lot more experimentation going on here besides class balance variables, and I think we should always be anticipating changes that may keep the sweats from getting too far ahead of the pack. It just seems to be the philosophy of this season.
Not ripping on sweats, I myself am a day away from exalted in wsg. But I get what they’re doing.
Your own fault for being sweaty enough to blow a fortune on BoE blues.
I literally spent hours on crates to get it to honour rep to buy a Rune and literally the next day the changed it to friendly and cheapened the cost. It is what it is , this is SoD change can happen instantly.
I agree with holding the sweats from getting too far ahead being a solid game philosophy. Minimizing the delta allows casuals and sweats to still have their time to shine in whatever playstyle they enjoy. However, overturning that delta isn’t necessary for casual players and sinks value for sweats.
I’m missing the point of honor grinding for reputation then adjusting the rune faction reward being a problem. There are clearly going to be rune+gear rewards from that reputation in the future.
Oh come on, let’s be reasonable here, lol. It’s fun to min max a character within such a tight range of conditions. Actually one of my favorite things about SOD is how you can get gear from so many different sources. It gives me different things to do. Crafting (invoker stuff and the quest epic), quests (like finding a random green on wowhead with good stats from a level 30 quest and then getting friends to go help you do it), raids, dungeons, and yes, farming for BoE blues to buy off other players. Is this really that weird? It’s actually really fun to gear in this version compared to the endgame at 60
It would be great to have these available at the start of the phase or at the start of next phase. No problems there. The timing is the problem. It ruins the thrill for those who put time and effort into obtaining more difficult options.
Don’t worry, I still think you’re special.
With the idiot level prices on everything (not just blue items). They should do this for all relative tradeskills and for EVERY slot. Where something like BFD gear is better…
Having the AH full of crap priced at the levels I see only promotes RMT.
I mean it’s great when I’m getting items that are priced at stupid levels as I can put it up on the AH and get a guaranteed sale. Fund my alt habit etc It’s just… there is a reason there are bots all over.
no, bruh, you’re just being spoiled. and it’s not like you even earned it. thing is boe and any cc swiper can “earn” it.
Blizzard doesn’t create BIS lists.
Math does, and Blizzard sets the variables.
You know what goblins say
“ a sucker is born every minute “
The item was going to be replaced pretty quickly/soon anyways. Kinda silly to have paid a buncha gold for it then get upset about it after lol.
So what? It got replaced a few weeks earlier, deal with it lol,
