Mag'har Orc Warlocks?

wrong. that’s if you drink demon-blood. i can see the confusion, but that’s not how it works.

for the record, i’m not into the idea of mag’har warlocks, i just like to argue devil’s advocate.

besides, gul’dan in au draenor was a warlock before becoming green, how else did he wander into his old clan’s base and torch it to the ground?

Again, this is wrong.

The mu frostwolves never drank the blood.

They were exposed to large amounts of fel

Yep. /tenchars

I think it was the warsongs who drank first, then the rest followed. Not sure.

The term maghar means uncorrupted, so they were formed after the legion events

that was the main universe ones though. who’s to say that the alternate universe mag’har are’nt more resilient to the effects of fel? or atleast, resilient to the point they’d actually need to drink the demon-blood for it to turn their skin green?

again, i agree. mag’har warlocks? silly.
but i’m just playing devil’s advocate at this point.

AU Blackhand became one with the Fire Elemental Energies in Blackrock Mountain while normal Blackhand was left untouched so there is something bizarre going on with AU Orcs.

Wrathion and Kairoz wanted an army to take on the Legion so them grabbing an AU with resilient Orcs who can become one with Elemental Energies isn’t an unexpected concept.

Like I said in another thread, if just being around fel magic is enough to turn an orc green, the mag’har are doomed to turn green anyways because they live alongside a bunch of other warlock using races.

Like with the orc priests, they’ll probably add some npcs to Org to explain how mag’har locks came to be. Maybe they’re just better at using fel magic than the rest of us? Maybe Gul’dan trained the main universe orcs wrong on purpose, as a joke.

That’s not really true. Durotan and Orgrim never drank the blood, they still turned green. You turn green through exposure to Fel magic. One way to do that is drinking demon blood, because duh, but also just being around warlocks for an extended period of time does it, as it did for Durotan and Orgrim.

Presumably Gul’dan wasn’t green yet because he had only just become a warlock.

Ohhh. I get it. The Green Skinned Orcs are like Wimp-Lo. Makes total sense!

Just wait until they add Mag’har Paladins. “We joined the Horde on Azeroth because we didn’t want to follow the Light and become… uh… Nevermind.”

I also feel Orcs should have always been green naturally. As we saw in Warcraft III, when empowered by fel, the Orcs actually became red. Now, what is red and green together? Brown. The “Mag’har” Orcs should have been Orcs that originally over used Fel to be red, but have weaned off of it, turning their skin halfway back to green. But that’s just my opinion.

Mag’har paladins should be treated the same way most other races treat warlocks. “We are shunned by society because we have studied the ways of our enemies in order to use their own abilities against them”

Where’s the fell gnomes with wings or fell dwarves with four arms?

Hope this helps!

Same could be said for a ton of race/class combos that exist.

It’s almost like new lore gets written constantly.

Also, you need to learn the definition of corrupted.

Warlocks aren’t corrupted.

Quite literally the lore behind their class is they control the fel, and aren’t corrupted by it. For someone who claims to care about the lore, you sure do like to butcher it.

For sure the AU orcs could have some anatomy differences and can already resist fel more than the mu ones.

Blizz just needs to confirm it somehow in game.

Like how there’s MU orc priests talking about their origins in org if you speak to them.

You don’t think you’re being a little ridiculous here?

I just find it comical how my character can be a Man’ari Eredar, the commander of the Alliance expedition to Draenor, AND the canonical Ashbringer and Highlord of the Silverhand and no one here is complaining that much about it…. Why? Because as the player character, you’re automatically the most special and unique person in the WoW Lore….

This is a video game and the world is here to facilitate your adventure and having more customization for your avatar is a good thing…. You fart sniffers take the Lore too seriously if you think it should impact how OTHER people should customize their avatars….

If I remember correctly, the Orcs as we know now, drank the fel blood. The Mag’har is wielding it. I’d imagine it affects the exterior body just a little, but I don’t think it’ll be the same as Orc, because they’re not drinking it.

Why necro an 8 month old thread?

Let’s be real…… You really think no one would complain about “Muh Lore” again…. And again…. And again?

Pandarens im all for being warlocks… Mag’har and lightforge ill take to my grave should not exist… anyone with a SLIGHT understanding of wow and a SLIGHT love of the lore will always be against this.

I have a Mag’har Orc Priest, which I find equally hilarious.
