Actually, people asked for the Mage Tower back for a second chance ti get what they didn’t before.
This difficulty is on par with the release of the original Mage Tower
This is exactly what people asked for. Gotta be careful what you ask for.
People claim they didn’t want it “handed to them”. I’m going to equate that to they didn’t want the roll over and play dead version which was…after 7.3.5 when it was made constant in the world, just that…handing out the skins.
Should have been a little more precise in the request.
Dear Blizzard. I want the mage tower back. I want a chance to “earn” the skins I missed by not doing it when it was available. And by earn, I want to be able to walk in and hit my covenant ability and between that and my legendary just AFK and get my rewards. Thank you!
Dear Blizzard: I would like “harder solo content” that gives respectable rewards. And by “harder” I mean I don’t want to do anything but DPS things to death. I don’t want to have to think or put skill into effect. And please god don’t make it so I have to use my class and specs abilities and toolkit. I just want to push my 3 DPS buttons and get gear that goes way above and beyond the content that it’s required for

Yea I am done. Aside from the other challenges that will take time to do on alts I don’t play I am simply sick of the Healing one with mages doing 50% HP hits or more unbuffed. So much frustration just to get 1 attempt and mess it up at the end part. Its not fun anymore, GL everyone else trying it.

I certainly wasn’t what I asked for.
I didn’t care about the rewards or difficulty, I just wanted to be able to play it at my own pace on all my characters.
Instead, it is restricted to Legion timewalking for lvl 50 and above so I can only try it a few times a year on one character.
So I am not even going to bother and am very sorry I resubbed for this month.

Guardian one is not bad right now. Its probably the easiest.

I’m about 50-60 pulls deep on it (I main Feral for the record, so my stat allocation and trinkets are jacked), and I’ve gotten a few sub 30% pulls on Kruul.
I didn’t do the Druid one in legion (although created and max level, Druid was benched until BfA). I struggle with enough DPS. I usually push phase 2 with 3 infernals up.
I feel like it’s doable….I just need a little extra oomph!
the point of a challenge is for it to be “tough but fair” keyword on the but fair part. whoever tuned the challenge obviously didn’t understand why people like a challenge.
no idea if you’ve been doing this already but if you use drums and consumables you might be able to beat it GL

100% this difficulty is not on par with legion release. It’s just not. Your gear made a difference. Some legendaries made some runs completely different vs. it having said legendary.
Was not walk through by any means but this ain’t it.
lol fair enough. I’m doing it on my Assassination Rogue and I’m doing better now than I did back then (and I was maining my rogue at the time with N-H NH gear)
So to me, it’s about on par. From what I’ve heard of of other people who also were doing it and completing it (I didn’t complete mind you) upon it’s release, it’s within the ball park

Difficulty is perfect. It’s not supposed to be a breeze. All of the bosses are killable and have been cleared.
Tip: put on your heart of Azeroth and vision cape- aswell as any old legendaries/gear that have gem slots and socket them with old gems.
