Allied races don’t really count, because those are tied to a specific race - meaning that your character customization is still heavily restricted. If you want the wicker forms, you have to play a KT. But that means you are locked out of other forms.
The other artifact appearances are all pretty much just standard ‘cat’ or ‘bear’, the only flashy skin (and yes, people like flashy transmogs) is the MT cat, and the only ‘unique’ bear form is the were-bear.
Uh, I’ve mentioned it constantly. To you, in fact. I’m not sure why you are trying to distort things and pretending that I didn’t.

I said you “framed” it to be misleading, which you most certainly did. We got a bonanza of new forms in Legion, happy days - and you skim that part over repeatedly, and deliberately. I mean, I like my mage tower cat form, but is it better than my nightmare forms (that are totally up for grabs by anybody) - well to me that’s a tough call. What I’m trying to say is there are many awesome options for druids now, more than ever before so the Oliver Twist angle doesn’t hold too much traction with me.
Still, I’d like to add to my cat closet / bear closet because it’s fun.
Hey there! I can’t be happier to learn the mage tower is coming back. But I just wanna emphasize that the question is not “Should Blizzard make the non-obtainable items, obtainable again?” My answer would be “no” then. But guys cmon, mage tower skins are so unique and we deserve to get them as a wow player. I have been playing this game since vanilla but at the legion mage tower time, I had been taking care of my patients in the hospital due to my rotation. And I believe everyone has different excuses.
I really dont get why people are so selfish and jealous. Ok we dont wanna have the same colors like yours, but pls blizzard give us at least with different colors. Especially guardian druid form omg is so damn unique. It is not just a recolored version of the other bear forms. It has even a special dance figure.
If the ppl who got these skins want to feel special, then blizzard can give us recolored version of them. Sorry guys for not being a nerd. Sorry for having a life. Sorry for just trying to have some fun. Sorry for playing wow with you. SO SORRY!
My point is that you are accusing me of deliberate dishonestly (much as you accused me of lying about my personal circumstances in the other thread). . If you want to disagree with me fine - but when you have to resort to ad-homs, that doesn’t say anything good about your own position.
As I explained before, and in the OP - the MT form is something special, because it’s the only ‘flashy’ form ferals get. If the MT form had been the owlkin thing, this would be less of an issue, because they have other options for standard ‘cat’.
Repeating something does not make it more persuasive.

Well I hope they introduce something new, not quite sparkley kitty, but something you’ll enjoy and have fun with. I actually would like you to be happy, believe it or not. I just don’t think going back on a retired item is the good way forward. But there are other ways.
You chould have been one of the patients that I looked for at that time. And you have no guarantee. You should be more empathetic and understanding. You won’t lose anything when you choose to be a kind person.
And people during Legion had their chance to show it off, when it was rare.
This isn’t a defense, this is just a statement of fact.
Because that’s the fracture point for me, personally. And, looking at other threads on this, the fracture point for others.
It’s also part of a bigger discussion on whether sunsetting so much stuff is good for your game in the long term - and I really don’t think so. Again, the brief customer retention in gives you in that expansion is going to be outweighed by the bad-will you are creating in future expansions.
From your conduct thus far, I sort of find this hard to believe. You come over as very mean-spirited. But let’s leave that alone now.

This is the WoW community, sadly. ‘Kind’ and ‘empathetic’ are not exactly common traits, especially on these forums.

Yeah I will show it off because I EARNED it during Legion. I busted my butt gearing my character and getting the legendaries to do the mage towers. Just like I busted my butt getting my characters their challenge modes.
I may have said somethings that weren’t the best spirited, and at the end of the day, we’re not enemies, we simply disagree on something. But at the same time, I feel for you and can understand how you must feel. I think a new flashy form that you’d enjoy and run around and cause havoc with sounds pretty good to me.
And you had your chance to show it off, when this content was relevant. Why didn’t you do so?

You asked me why I wasn’t able to obtain these appearances, and I explained that I had experienced a personal tragedy, and gave you the details of my old M raid guild if you doubted me.
You then called me a liar, several times, and came pretty close to mocking me for my wife’s accident.
You never offered an apology, nor did you make any effort to retract what you said.
But, very well, I’m willing to bury the hatchet. Let’s move on. I don’t really have the mental energy for drama or forum rivalries right now.
That would be nice, but again - I doubt it will ever happen. Which is why I’m so intent on a recolor of the MT form, as this is the only reasonable and somewhat likely I am able to imagine.
At the time, my guild was moving from Heroic into Mythic, and (literally on the date of our first anniversary), my wife was hit by a distracted driver. I had to rush to the hospital. She suffered severe injuries that have left her with several likely permanent disabilities.
