Better temper your expectations unless you want to get your souls crushed. Those recolored legion class sets seem to be the most likely choice for potential rewards.

You don’t define “most”. Not even a little bit. The forums aren’t the only representation of the player base and even in the forum thread alone people are disagreeing constantly. So no, you don’t define most.

As for me I do want to practice and try to put extra handicaps for the healer challenge. Just get rid of the phantom pain of not getting those 5. The rest I was gucci on.
My advice is to brace yourself for suck.
I’d be extremely surprised if they brought back the artifact appearances.
Maybe they’ll give feral a nyancat sparklecolor. :3

Yeah, I saw this and immediately started leveling my alts. Thankfully I have most classes at 60, but I’m gonna be going through the gearing process to get them as close to geared as possible so I can bang out all 12 scenarios and get the sets. Just like I got all 36 mage tower skins. I’ll be curious to see how they go about it.

Honestly your attitude is awful, but regardless your “assessment” of the situation is definitely not true. It’s actually a pretty terrible assessment.
You straight up said it’s pointless to bring it back without old rewards and I said that’s not true. It isn’t pointless at all lol. You should assess this thread, it’s clear people are happy with new rewards. Some might not be but some are, so it’s not pointless.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dont bring these back. OP is mental. There are very very few items with any sort of prestige or exclusivity to them in the game at all besides pvp elite sets and glad mounts. You have thousands of appearances to chose from, stop crying because you missed out on a sword. Let things have exclusivity and meaning. Nobody cares about all the countless recolors of mounts and items you get for doing nothing. Work hard towards what will come in the future if you’re a new player. Not everything is meant for you!
I think og corrupted ashbringer is the coolest item in the game. But the second they hand it out to everyone or put it on the bmah it looses everything that made it special.

sadly all the good gearing changes come with 9.1.5. gotta just push through it i guess
i’m against mt artifacts from returning, but I never thought of it like that. I forgot how little exclusive stuff PVE players have access to, it’s kind of sad actually.

CMs are a different kettle of fish, and are one of the only areas where sunsetting makes sense, because these were really tightly timed and couldn’t easily be rebalanced.
And yes, I’ll admit that I have a slight bias here, as while other classes have hundreds of options for cool, distinctive and flashy transmogs, druids have almost none. Sunsetting the only flashy feral form and probably the only ‘different’ bear form was a really, really silly decision.
I’ll choose to remain hopeful until I can no longer be.

This comes down to whether sunsetting so much meaningful customization is good for the game (it allows players who earned it to feel ‘special’) or bad for the game (it is extremely frustrating and disappointing for new or returning players to realize that they can simply never make the avatar they want, because they didn’t play for a certain, brief period).
I’d argue the latter.
I think that they would be very silly not to.
Most of the MT threads come down to two things - the cat form and the bear form, because druids have few enough form options as is, and removing two of the most meaningful visual options they’ve ever received was not a good decision.

My are attitude is fine. Its pointless to make people half way happy with the mage tower. If they don’t let people earn the druid forms its just going to be endless “lol blizzard monkey paw” threads about how theyre designing out of spite for their players.

them bringing back content and adding a new reward to it + scaling is actually the most ideal thing they could do.

They aren’t making all people half way happy. Only some. There’s plenty of people that want the mage tower back without the old rewards. Just because you clearly land on the side of wanting old rewards back doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of people that don’t want that. Look at this thread alone, it’s pretty clearly there isn’t really a majority here. Bringing it back with new rewards is a win win, the people who just want that content back get it and we get new rewards on top of that.
Regardless, my point was that it isn’t pointless for them to do this. Many people will enjoy the content and get the rewards and be happy. The rest can sit on the forums asking for old items to come back but plenty will enjoy the new stuff.

as a mythic raider myself, I wouldn’t go that far as to deny others the sets, but I think something new could be added instead.
Every season, aka a tier basically, gives M+s and PVPers access to a unique modeled mount with a recolour each time. They could simply do that for M+ too.
