I honestly feel that the Mage Tower Appearances should be unlocked account-wide. Meaning If you have at least done it one one character, you should be able to unlock the skin for ALL characters you make for Transmog. I understand it was challenging and we had a time limit on it, but still. It wasn't easy for everyone to get the gear to be able to complete it. Let alone time to level a whole new class. But I believe for those who completed it on at least one character should have access to all of the skins no matter what class.
I only think it’s fair. Only because someone on Twitter asked Blizzard if they could allow the WoD challenge mode weapon appearances to be account-wide. I do not see how it’s fair when people probably only completed it on one character, but now can buy a token to unlock all the weapons appearances. Seems only fair if Blizzard could allow us to have access to the Mage Tower AF skins. The Twitter question was " @WarcraftDevs Will players that completed WOD challenge modes unlock all the weapon models for xmog? If not seems unfair to some classes." In which, Blizzard Devs responded with " In #Legion you will be able to purchase a token that will unlock all Challenge Mode weapon appearances account-wide!" Please be fair to people like me, who have completed the mage tower in legion.
Then the weapons in WOD weapons shouldn’t be unlocked for appearances purposes. Because the class they completed on cannot use all types of weapons. Same thing here.
I think the OP means you did on one class all class should be unlocked.
While I did mange to get all 4 mage tower skins for my druid I didn’t have the time for alts as well. I would disagree with unlocking for all class just because you did on one class.
Mage tower skins where hard and for some even harder so I respect those who got them for their class.
some mage tower fights were pretty simple. you are asking them to unlock 30+ skins because you beat a 4 minute fight that was easy on some specs with the right legendary? i have to say the OP is a little confusing and could be phrased a lot better
i dont agree with unlocking warrior skins because i beat a fight on my rogue
If you had any idea whatsoever about the subject you were discussing, you’d understand that the WoD CM Weapon argument is idiotic and nonsensical because if, for example, you did them as a Warrior, almost every weapon mog would be unlocked anyway. It was unfair and unbalanced towards classes that couldn’t use nearly every weapon type.
P.S. Yes, I have all 36 MT appearances because I wasn’t lazy and knew they were going away.
You’re asking for a free hand-out. The challenge was to complete dungeons in time for WoD. Completion of a dungeon and reward doesn’t equal the same as completion of a class / spec specific scenario tuned and with mechanics around that spec.
No. If you didn’t do the Mage Tower on all of your alts, then that’s on you. You do not get free hand outs.
Oh, there is that moronic excuse of “I totally have a life outside of WoW and that’s why I’m awful at the game!”. The MT skins were pretty much free for every spec during Antorus, let alone once the artifacts overloaded and because incredibly OP. It isn’t my fault, nor Blizzard’s, that you were unable to put out the bare minimum effort for them or learn how to play other specs before the timed stuff ran out.
