Whispered to this person who was forming a grp for old hillsbrad. They told me they dont want a rogue, because I dont do any aoe dps and told me to either reroll or quit my class. WTF is going on lmao.

So rogue are in a tough spot for DPS in the sense your kinda a meme DPS at the moment. Feral druid DPS kinda fall slightly behind rogues but atleast they have the crit buff, motw, a battle rez, and innervate while rogues quite literally have nothing except a CC which can be good on some packs.

If my rogue was ever told this I would have linked my bombs and flame turrets. 
oh no how can you expect to defeat old hillsbrad without major amounts of AOE. If you don’t have a prot pally, 2 locks, a mage, and a shaman there’s just no way you’ll ever be able to kill those 4 packs.

It’s not your fault relax, it is however your fault that you rolled a dps in the first place, as there is a permanent shortage of tanks that you could have met. My 3 toons are a healer main, a tank and a dps and guess who gets easy runs whenever i want of whatever content i want? thats right my tank and healer.
Too many ppl turn off their brains and zug zug and expect to get groups easily, their loss.
They are just upset because they are inferior to warlocks in raiding. Mages got two jobs this expansion: table and portal.

Heres what happened, someone started a thread, saying rogues are useless, and every single person who cannot form an opinion alone saw it and ran with it. Now everyone wants to bring AOE classes to mow down mobs so they can hurry up and sit in Ironforge while doing nothing.

I healed sethekk yesterday with a rogue, and 2 warriors and a ret pally. The rogue was fine, though it was difficult to heal with an all melee group.
Some people are so stuck up with min/max meta it’s insane. Meanwhile my guild did Gruul/Mag this week no problem a rogue, fury warrior, and two cat druids who stayed cat the whole time.
Also a rogue in a dungeon is good since you can keep a caster mob basically locked down by yourself.

I must annoy alot of groups then. I don’t sit there and spam my AoE, I dot up 2 or 3 targets and just wand. I’ve been called a mana parasite before so I conserve mana now.
