I was very surprised to hear supatease say they could be dumpstered with the conduit nerf.
I feel like the nerfs are good, but fire will still be strong.
Can anyone who plays the spec comment? What effects will this nerf have?

No way fire is dumpstered lol, def an overexaggeration by him
Still will be really durable and combustion is still very powerful
Letâs say you have a 200 ilvl infernal cascade
12.6% per fb, 2 stacks gives you 25.2% increased fire damage
25.2-33%=16.88, so youâll now have 8.44% increased damage per fb, and 16.88 max
Still fairly powerful, have to keep in mind combustion has become so much stronger in shadowlands anyways from crit change and rune of power
But also I think this is going to be really good in the future as the ilvl of the conduit gets stronger and stronger through the xpac.
Like the soulbind calculatorâs on wowhead have conduits measured up to 330 ilvl, if we actually get there then lol thatâs literally 21.6% increased fire damage per stack
Would have been so absurd late xpac
Still the best potency conduit, it was just so absurdly powerful imo, good that they hit it
Well heres some more news for you. Supacheese is an idiot lmao.
Buff Arcane damage, thatâs my comment.
it wont be dumpstered, they basically nerd combust by like 9 or 10% during combustion, and nerfed their survivability a little.
what⌠thereâs a reason blizzard invites him back to cast, heâs far from an idiot. supatease is one of the greatest players ever.
One of the âgreatestâ lmfao. Thanks for the hot take bloomsday 2.0. Heres mine for you. If blizzard was worried about the quality of casters rich would of never been there

emphasized textheâs 2900 rated. you think thatâs bad?
Heâs a high rated player, he can play the game well.
doesnât mean he knows how to balance or develop a game. Also, content creators use hyperboles all the time.
never claimed he does, but to call him an idiot is just disrespectful.
I didnât call him an idiot, I was responding to the OP
he gives great commentary, his knowledge of the game is unquestionable. When he says he is worried the spec will become nonviable I listen.
To clarify his statements, he basically said that fire mages strength is the one-shot kill capability. If this nerf ruins that, then they will need to wait until dampening to actually kill something- at that point you might as well go frost.
The forums are full of people who result to name calling when their argument has absolutely no ground to stand on.
Whatâs funny is that these people actually donât realize how much their position is instantly diminished the second they result to personal insults.
u r so stopid
Heâs 2700 atm not 2900
hes an idiot.
Ahh yes, there we are.
