Mage needs adjusting

Frost and Arcane anyways. I think the concept of making a class hyper mobile and having 3 charges of Frost Nova(Pet Nova is the 3rd) on extremely short cd is fine if the spec is REALLY SQUISHY. Problem is they’re not squishy. At least not around 1800. It wouldn’t be as big of a deal if they were less common but there is at least 1 mage in every single SS match. When they’re paired with a warlock and Resto Shaman, it’s amplified 10 fold.

Either make Freedom undispellable, and shorten the cooldown, or reduce mage snares by 1 charge, and do something about the mobility. 4 blinks on short cd is beyond excessive.

Buffing cloth armor was a bad idea outside of maybe SP. Nobody else needed this.

Idk if it makes you feel any better but I had a double mage lobby on my ret ln at like 2200ish lost points on it.

Frost/Arc/Outlaw and boy did I feel like i just struggled to do anything. It was on a large map too so made it worse.

I came to conclusion in hindsight maybe I just need to sit on a pillar till cds and be less focused on uptime. I AINT A WARRIOR i guess.

That kite did feel pretty miserable, freedom instastolen and waddling and they were well clear of my range.

I’m also a new ret and not very good at it yet so that also contributes alot to situations like that.

I noticed that on my warrior that I’m not very good at maximizing my globals in uptime windows. Gotta work on it

yea i was in a frost mage, devoker, arms war lobby on my DH and when it was me and the war we had no chance lol. I could barely move even as DH. Especially when they were with the druid healer. Perma rooted.

won every match where it wasn’t double caster. insane mobility and control

just had a frost mage demo lobby at 2300 mmr on mugambala never have I felt more useless still managed to get 3 wins but I’ve never been more tilted from matchmaking

yea freedom being spell stolen from the ret is definitely not a good change for the class.

What needs adjusting is healers need a big banner when they join against frostmage that tells them to DISPELL FROSTBOMB. So mnay freewins frost gets because people dont know they have to dispell it.

They can make it immune. I feel Pidgeon-holed into taking some talents too. Honestly though, Ret paladins have insane ranged damage through judgement and hammer, and I’m okay with it; but bubble damage needs to go away.

Fighting a mage + dev on my Enhance makes me want to uninstall. Mage mobility def needs to be toned down some. That said, so does most melee mobility.

Your healers not dispelling roots?

When freedom was not dispellable it was annoying lol. Wait until it ends to root rets.

My last SS game from last week was; Rdruid, arms war, blood dk, Havoc DH and a priest. I went 4-2, but it was miserable. Ping-pong all over the arena because of the DK.

When the DK was with me I was the kill target. War and DH over me. Not fun at all, I could not even cast a single GS.

When people call for frost mage nerfs I’m like wtf I don’t feel op at all.:melting_face:

Happened to me like 2 weeks ago, destro/frost mage/r Druid in SS vs me/demo/shaman.
3x root, 3x clone, 3x poly, bash, repeat while my team just got 2v3 lmao.

Agree with this. My damage feels gutted on frost mage when healers dispel bomb. Not always so cut and dry with sheeps and other things needing dispelled, but it really feels bad when they do it.

I feel yah… I got so frustrated at a frost mage the other day, I rage quit, unsubbed, and uninstalled the game. I can’t bring myself to play the game anymore. I hate everything about it.

Yea, definitely not something worth playing if you’re getting frustrated. It’s just odd to me that they have massively increased the mobility of some specs and other specs have remained essentially the same. To that, why does mage neeeeed that mage mobility? If it’s because they are that squishy, buff them appropriately. The arms race between mages and warriors has really peaked at this point. They’ll probably buff warriors next. :laughing:
