But it does nothing to combat paladin instance farming, and it could screw up a class. That doesn’t seem worth it.
Rome wasn’t built in a day my friend. To progress!
Like you’re stopping a farm which hurts the economy of the game. That being said, the gameplay is miles more important than that economic concern. At least to me, and I think a lot of other people.
Just curious, did RMT stop with this change?
Are you saying that killing mage farming harms the economy?
I totally appreciate your perspective here and I think that exploits that degenerate the way the game is played suck. But like, I think that applying solutions one facet at a time is wayyyy more responsible. Why not nerf exp and try that first? And no, mage farming is what’s bad for the economy. That’s what I’m saying. Pretty sure we agree on this.
It’ll never stop, but we can work towards making it more difficult.
One could also nerf mob rewards based on an overleveled player being in the instance.
So then it was pointless, carry on
Just making sure.
So you believe that since we can’t defeat RMT, we should just accept it.
We can’t defeat hackers. Might as well just let them steal all my data.
Can’t defeat terrorists. Might as well just let them kill me.
No I think Blizz should stop catering to the whining bads and figure out a better way of enforcing their TOS.
Delicious mage tears.
SLORP!!
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say this nerf heavily affects you.
Either you’re a booster or you had several alts boosted. To which I will say… hahahahahha man that sucks for you! You’re exactly the people I want to hear from on this, so I can see how mad you are about it.
Im neither. Have never been boosted and I dont boost others
You guys just remind me of that crying sibling who tells the parent to take a toy away because its better than the one that they got
Cool story. Instead try “laughing at all the sad people who can’t abuse boosting any longer and come out of the wood work to cry about it on the forums”, including you.
Might wanna get a job or go visit the food bank.
I probably get paid more at my job than you do, I am far far from being in need of a food bank.
You guys are celebrating something that wont even put a dent into the RMT. Its quite foolish and humorous in all honesty.
I’m homeless and play WoW at the McDonald’s near where I sleep.
I don’t really care about RMT nearly as much as boosting being nerfed to be honest. People have to actually level their characters now. Zones might have people in them like they did 15 years ago. The big shame is that they didn’t implement this at the very beginning, but unfortunately they were too timid back then.
Wait til you get the reality check that this change just disincentivized people to level alts in the first place.
I dunno where all you guys get this nonsense where people not boosting means they will be out in the world. If they wanted to level out in the world they would already be doing it. Ive been doing it that way for over 15 years even though its not as fast as boosting would make it. Those who do not like questing will not be out in the world. All this change really did was make mage less fun to play for those capable of doing those pulls consistantly
Yeah I dunno how many times I’ve logged into wow and been like “Dude I need to go pull every mob in SM Cath on my mage to see how many I can get” out of sheer boredom. How dare blizz take this from us.
