More than you since you seem to think mages have no healing and rets are an issue.

So you can mitigate damage with your absorb while also being healed ontop of it and can get a full heal with iceblock if nobody shatters it. Wow suddenly mages have healing thats on par with hybrids while also being stupid tanky.

Weird how it’s a lock in by pretty much every mage regardless of spec. Which looking at this also reminded me about the blink shield conduit you guys can use to. So yeah in summary.
I guess if you consider 2’s to be any sort of a meaningful example, a dead bracket that you can’t even achieve full rewards in.
Weird how when you look at all the mages on the front page of the 3s ladder none of them are playing Triune, cryo freeze, or diverted energy. MAGE HEALING OP.
would you say Mage is not op but rather complete? Similar to how Arms Warrior was in S1-2 of shadowlands.
As for tanky, compared to other casters? They still seem to get punished for players with bad positioning , not like you can turret all game long or can you?

Ever since the triune nerfs it doesn’t, since everyone assumes fire is the only mage spec anyone plays ( or at least the only one worth crying about) we’ll assume everyone is playing nightfae dreamweaver which only uses 1 endurance slot which tempest barrier ( blink absorb) is always better.

Nobody mentions triune or really plays it anymore. That website I just linked you show that the top 50 mages regardless of spec use cryo freeze and diverted energy. Just because you refuse to pull your head out of the sand doesn’t mean you can run away from reality.
Mage is complete but it’s also op. If you took out the absorb healing and borrowed power of shadowlands mage would still be s+++ tier, the fact they get all of that and are baseline amazing is what makes them op.
Current mages absolutely don’t have to care about positioning with how many get out of jail free cards you have. The new cc and kick immunity trinket plus swapping to blazing barrier instead of simmer lets mages just play BFA destro sim in the middle of the map.
Punishing mages currently doesn’t even feel like it’s really happening unless they misplay horribly or your a class that can do it routinely like hunter. The rest of the time your just struggling to not die while knowing the mage is making mistake after mistake and it doesn’t matter.

you lose a 20% shield on 1 min ICD if you run 2x endurance conduits, cryo freeze typically doesnt get much value since your healer should be able to top you in 10 seconds, Diverted energy will just get purged, and tempest barrier is your only other somewhat decent option
Only cryo freeze you won’t really take but man you’re literally running 2 endurance conduits unless you’re playing grounding surge into something

Defaulting to oh this guys just repeating what streamers are saying when you hear something you don’t like just tells people you don’t actually know what your talking about.
Anyone who’s played this season and isn’t biased in mages favor knows this is the case. I’ve qued into way to many fire and frost mages who play like absolute apes with blink stun and cc immunity trinket but are still at ratings they normally wouldn’t be able to get to with how they played.
If this isn’t the most obvious example of a bad mage who doesn’t know how to play I don’t know what else is.
