This seems a bit….much
Honestly with the melee mobility creep this is fine. Rather have mages be squishier and more slippery than being tanks.
Seems fine to me. It’s not like they’re taking a passive 30% damage reduction or just unkillable machines so far.

Yeah but the specs that need them really need them. Enh and ret come to mind.
Unless im mistaken Ret does not have a snare/root.
Druid, Shaman, Mage, Warrior have snares.
Ret has a long cd snare. I don’t remember the name of it rn but they definitely do.
In shadowlands there is no such spell. There was way back in the day but the current CC list for paladin is Repentance(sap/Incap), Blinding Light(blind), Hand of Hindrance (SLOW), and Hammer of Justice(stun).
In Dragonflight’s talents i did not see any snare effects for ret or any paladin.
70% slow. It’s pretty good for catching casters.

I would like to point out mages will always be the best class at least one season an expac.

Because Mages are supposed to kite as a defensive. And losing Displacement really killed Arcane going in to Shadowlands so I’m glad it’s back.

Snare removal could be too OP potentially, but I like them getting some damage from hitting into barriers but they can also get shut down by it getting purged
