Give spell steal a 6 sec cd
Make triune one buff
Ring of frost available only to frost mages
Remove invis

Mage design is a complete joke. Fire Mage gets multiple abilities from Frost and Arcane.
All they should have from other specs is Poly, Blink, and Spell Steal(This needs a CD.
They shouldn’t have access to Ring of Frost, Ice Barrier, Frost Nova, and Shimmer. Shimmer is probably the most broken low CD in the game.

Actually, pure dps that has a purge has 10sec cd on them, so spell steal could get a 10sec cd too

The other pure DPS classes with purges dont go OOM for pressing it… Mage gets 5 purges and they’re completely OOM.
Not saying Spellsteal doesn’t deserve some sort of nerf, but lets not pretend its broken in comparison to Shamans and Priests.

Yes and make it so you can’t shatter iceblock or purge alter time either. Also shimmer should take you out of stuns

I don’t understand the hate towards mages. Mage is not nearly as strong as their melee counterparts.
It is crazy how priests and shamans can spam purge, so fast.
Imagine if you could just dispell Wings from paladins, why can’t you do it anymore?

Clearly bait but ill take it. Mage is strongest Caster in the game, #2 dps spec in arenas. So no, melees arent all stronger than mages. Mage is stupidly strong.

Literally the second most prominent dps spec above 2400.

High representation means a spec is really, really good.
Low representation doesn’t necessarily mean a spec is bad.

Mages have been crying since vanilla and they’ve been S+ tier in PVP and PVE ever since.
It’s almost unreal.
And the ego of casters is next level. At least high rated melee don’t actually think they’re 5 heads usually.
But even 1400 mages think they’re actually smart IRL because they stack intellect in game and can spam CC. As if casting a crowd control and attacking a stunlocked target takes brain power.
