Mage bots galore

You’re right.
Blizzard clearly can’t afford to pay people to police their game, they’re a small indie company with a tiny audience after all.

Recycling bad forum jargon doesn’t do anything to reinforce your claim. I’m encouraging you to actually think about something. On your own. Ponder it just for a bit.

How is what I’m proposing any different from the system of tickets that we have now?
90% of it would be automated.

They have logs of literally everything and it’d be easy enough to have a script that specifically picks out people that don’t have any other relevant logs(ie: chat logs).

It honestly seems like you’re not the one thinking about things and are seeking to “poo poo” the idea because it might actually help with the rampant cheating across WoW.

How many people will they need to hire and train? What kind of wage for such a tedious job?

They already have CSRs(GMs) chief.

You’re avoiding the question.

You’re asking an unanswerable question as an attempt at a gotcha.
To implement this, you wouldn’t know until you started doing it how many extra GMs you’d have to hire to fullfill the additional duties.

I understand most people didn’t play WoW back in the day, but they actually did have GMs back then. You’d see them. You’d talk to them. They’d interact. And I’m not talking about after waiting a week. They were a presence.

Nowadays there’s no such thing as a WoW GM. Support handles all Blizzard games. They’re not specific to a game anymore. It’s an absolute joke.

Anyone who has any concept of how anything works in the world would know what you’re suggesting is absurd.

Any more absurd than an automated ban system that flags people for review by actual real humans?

How much are you willing to pay for a sub? Nothing exact… A rough estimate will do.

If our subs paid for Blizzard to actively police the game that we’re paying subs to play, we wouldn’t be having this conversation chief.

You know quests run out yeah? And green items are sellingfor like 20g if they’re the right pieces. Why wouldn’t you aoe farm for gold?

You are almost there!

So are you captain smug.

We already have autoamated ban systems in place that go through their CSRs(GMs).
Adding an additional task wouldn’t increase workload substantially past what we’re already seeing.

I know you’re being obtuse or a naysayer or whatever, but you clearly recognise that there’s a huge problem with gold buying.

Is the solution to not say anything at all?
To quit playing the game?

i seen people farming at wetlands, and i do believe they are bots considering how they act.
attacking anything thats a murloc, having a weird spasm when someone else grabs it before them, stands there, pick nose, and be silent.

usually someone would react to that, emote, simple move away, help? usually something.
