When i was about to log onto my main WoW account I had noticed that my bnet client had a notice that my sub has expired, so I bought a 12month sub, thinking that it was time to renew.
But I then noticed that my game client was showing my other WoW account which has been inactive for a while, whereas my main account still has a couple months of gametime left, so I’ve paid for gametime that I don’t need yet.
Can I get a refund on the 12month purchase please?
They have an self-service refund available but a few conditions apply. You have to request the refund within 3 days and you cannot have used any of the game time.
I tried to find the direct link but have been unable to find it. I did find an article from Business Insider with specific instructions on how to request a refund from Blizzard but I can’t post the link. If you google “Blizzard Refunds” I’m sure you’ll find it.

Here is the link for the refund: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/166/1152/solution
If you recently added a subscription to your account, or added game time from the Battle.net Shop, you can check if the order is eligible for a refund. If the order cannot be refunded, or you purchased your game time from a different vendor, you may need to purchase additional game time and add it to the correct account.
In very rare circumstances Customer Support can look into possible alternate solutions if contacted directly.
