We all knew there was a bug of dragon shard of knowledge at the first week of the game launched. The bug last the full first week before it got hotfix. Many players who caught the bug can gain at least 40+ extra profession knowledge ahead of other players and made huge huge huge amount of gold not only in game.

Such as this guy who made 1 billion gold (= 70,000 USD) SO FAR.
He clearly admitted in his video that he caught the first week bug and regret he did not farm more dragon shard knowledge while the bug was there.

Why not Blizzard ban them or at least do the roll back ???

It’s a feature not a bug.

We all complained, and Blizzard saw this coming. They decided to allow it for the speedsters.

Now you know next expansion to speed to max level and exploit as much as possible.

I fear that as we go forward with the wow token they’re only going to hand out bans for people that undercut their ability to sell gold for cash.

This is unacceptable. If that’s a feature, Blizzard should list it in the patch notes before launch and let everyone do fair competition.

Players: I hate being timegated!
Blizzard: Adds multiple super degenerate grinds that only a few people will realistically be willing to do to speed up the timegate
Players: Blizz, people are doing the grinds! timegate them! ban them!

No matter what you say, the first week dragon shard knowledge drop rate （before nerf） did give huge advantages with any professions. That is obviously unfair to other players.

They should definitely get ban.

Nothing wrong with that but I bet the person uses TSM and doesnt really do the work.

Blizzard nerfed the drop rate with the hotfix after first week and did not admit that was a bug.
