I often carry different types of food in my bag, whether it be mage food or water, or whatever. I would liek to only have one keybind and not have to keep switching the item thats on the bar.
Is there a macro that will consume whatever item I have depending on the order I list them at without failing when one is empty?
For a simple example: Purified Draenic Water and Conjured Mana Biscuit
Maybe ask in the macro forum. Might be Abit complex making a macro based on what your thinking, atm.
I personally have all of my action buttons showing, (top left, top right, right side 1, right side 2) than manually click exactly what you want. You really only need to click once each 30 minutes & this gives you more on screen choices than really needed for hotkeys.

Another thing you can do is assign inventory spots to be used and have it try to use the item in the order you want. Problem with this is you have to keep a tidy inventory.
I don’t remember the exact macro but it’s something like /use bagslot1.
