They wouldn’t put a random speed limit, you’re right.
But there are rules about speed limits in areas that aren’t explicitly signed, just like there’s rules about exploiting in WoW that don’t go into detail on every single exploit.
Whining you got dinged when you (or a “friend”) broke the rules is silly. Crappy enforcement from Blizzard doesn’t mean that exploiting isn’t against the rules and won’t be punished, it just means that when you choose to do so (especially in a way that is very clearly not intended) you roll the dice on getting punished or not.
And this time people lost the gamble.
I timed 27 very early in the season with out tech and my friends timed 30 with out tech.
Can we get any kind of acknowledgement regarding whether titles actually went out like you’ve stated? No one I know has it yet and we 100% did not use the exploit.

Looks like we are on our own for now ill reply with an update if i see anyone know get the title.
This title might as well not exist to an average player like myself but I guess grats to people farming 3000 raiderio scores and stuff.
Possibly related question due to transfers apparently messing with titles, but was anyone else getting the bug during pre-patch where your guild chat would show as though you or your guildmates were on another server? For example, my guild used to be on Lightbringer before I joined, but transferred to Sargeras a while ago (at least a year ago) and once prepatch hit a bunch of them were showing their old character names and server in guild chat. It was also happening for me, where it was showing me as being on Eredar in chat, a server I haven’t been on since before Shadowlands launch. Everyone in my guild’s characters still showed up on Sargeras though on the character selection screen.
Any update on when we are getting this title? It has been over 48 hours since this post went out.

They’re faking everyone out, waiting for people to snitch on themselves in support tickets before giving them.

Why do the heavy lifting writing automation to check buffs in these runs when you can just wait to see who comes cryin to you
lmao you’re so cooked.
Its taking them longer than expected because they probably assumed out of the ~700 people per region that only a few dozen were using the buff, but realistically more than half of the ladder had the buff at one point as it auto accepts when someone shares. They’re spending time to review it case by case to determine what criteria should fit for a DQ and weighing out the options.
Is the person that went to Western Plaguelands to pick up the quest the only person that technically bug abused? Is it anyone that pressed share quest at any point? Is it every person that completed a dungeon with the buff active? What if you did every mob up to the last boss then abandon/removed the buff? What if you were 200 points over the cut off without the buff and used the buff to time a 32+ keys to try and get world first? Ect.
There are many possible ways they could go about DQing people that range from just a few people to literally half of the ladder depending on how strict they want to be and the wide spread use, ease of access, and even ignorance to it even happening are all going to factor into their decision.

What is your source on this information?

The fact that it’s been two days since they said they were handing out titles and then all the sudden went radio silent without giving a single title out.

It’s okay to set a precedent, but some communication would be appreciated though as to when the title+achievement will be rewarded, and your stance on bugs/exploits like these and when something is DQ worthy. Thanks Blizz.
