M+ leaving epidemic still widespread

Agreed. Waaaaay too many people refuse to use their utility, learn their rotations, pay attention to mechanics and wipe the group.

Crazy how little respect they have for the time of 4 other people.

Also, crazy that ‘elite’ players still pug enough for it to affect them in any way.

Players that know what they’re doing: Give pugs a chance.

Players that know what they’re doing: Do mechanics and rotations correctly, contributing the success of the key,

Players that don’t know what they’re doing: Don’t use personals, utility, interrupts, ignore mechanics, killing key.

Players that know what they’re doing: Get frustrated.

Players that know what they’re doing=bad guy.

Now that is an interesting logic chain.

No one should be forced to carry Mike in accounting because he can’t stay out of bad circles or push his buttons.

I’m sorry you don’t like facts?

If you want a carry you’re going to have to pay me.

Or Susie in HR that refuses to take accountability for her mistakes :joy:

How are you ‘forced’ into doing anything?

Not everyone is at the same point of progression. Plenty of reasons to leave keys this week.

especially Mists with that matching minigame it has, although still confused why you can’t queue for any heroic not part of the mythic rotation. Just because mythic plus has to suffer the stupidity does not mean it’s right to force that on heroic dungeons too

If they penalize people for leaving mplus keys that forces people to stay.

Like you wouldn’t check io scores of every other person before hand…

Io doesn’t guarantee competency.

It helps but people can also be carried especially as dps.

Unfortunately the socal norm of online gaming these days. I’ve seen this behavior corrected in other games that allow for direct competition with a given leaver.

If there is something to genuinely be lost by the leaver (and won by those who stay) suddenly that guy who HAS TO LEAVE can stay a few more minutes. Funny how that works.

If people don’t want to play, forcing them to play leads to subpar outcomes.

Like campaigning to surrender in League of Legends.

Watch out for the “eLiTiSm iS rUiNiNg tHiS gAmE” crowd.

I’m not worried about them at all but thanks for the heads up :+1:

I’d argue that making things harder by simply removing time is also lazy :woman_shrugging:

That one at least makes sense, given how you could 2 chest some keys in DF S3/S4 with 20+ deaths, which should not be possible.

Peril is trying to fix how far you can fail up in M+ (although, doesn’t do quite enough IMO)
