M+ killed this game for me

so tell me whats the point of logging to raid every week when I can get a mythic raid level gear 100% from just completing an m+ 15?]

nzoth or carapass doesn’t drop anything good for me that i cant get from a vendor.

is this the new raid loging now? Just log in once a week to do one m+ that you dont have to time and get that nice corrupted loot ?

Heck even raid doesnt have a 100% chance to get corruption.

so what’s the problem? Can’t handle other people getting equal loot that choose not to raid? I don’t see why it would affect you if you actually enjoy raiding.

Why don’t you try minding your own business and stop worrying about what other players are doing in the game?

The problem is, even mythic raiders don’t get a 100% chance on loot, but m+ can? Even if you don’t time?

It’s literally a joke.

As an ex heroic progression raider, m+ took what used to be 3-4 months of gear progression and turned it into 3 weeks of spamming dungeons.

M+ is a necessary system to keep dungeons relevant, but the specifics of the implementation are terrible and it’s more or less too late to backtrack because people will have been used to how it is NOW for 4 years at the end of BfA.

Absolutely the opposite for me and 90% of my friends, OP. We’d all have quit and moved on if it weren’t for M+

Sorry, not sorry.

So what’s the problem again? Is it the fact mythic raid loot doesn’t give you the “super special” award over everyone who doesn’t choose to mythic raid? Raiding should not be the only end game method to get top gear.

Yeah I think that’s going to be the play now.

So what’s the point of mythic raiding? Whenyou can literally just log in and do 1 m+ for 45 min or so and get loot higher than a heroic and the week later get a mythic level gear. I dont even have to time it. Heck we can afk for 10 hours, and finish it and will still get that loot for next week.

and Mythic raiding has to be in server only, huge, cluttered and overly more difficult?

I don’t care about the subject, just wanted to say the He-Man mog is 10/10 :+1:

but I also agree with this 100%

M+ is the reason I log on more than twice a week to raid.

For playing the game, I enjoy M+ more than raiding. For social interaction I enjoy raiding more.

There is gear I want from raiding.
There is gear I want from M+.

I am happy there are multiple gearing paths.

You dont get a +15 key if you are spending 45 mins a week on a single +15 key.

You can. It’s called pugging, and I have pugged my 15+ key since day 1.

Goes well with the green shadow pan tiger and the Champions salute toy.

It still does. You get a title and +10 item levels over anyone else in the game if you complete the raid on mythic (on specific pieces).

Often, more often than I like, raid trinkets are mandatory as well. Something I dearly hope goes away in 9.0

Because you enjoy hanging out with other people and conquering challenging content? If gear was your only reason for raiding, then I’m sorry to say you weren’t enjoying the actual raids, you were there for power. And this is a dead give away that you wanted more power than everyone else because you raid.

I love it. The people I play with and myself generally don’t have a lot of time to run full heroic/mythic raids, but we do have time to knock out a couple mythic+ dungeons in the evening. Not only that, but one of our members has arthritis and cannot handle doing raids. It’s great because we can challenge ourselves to do better and we’re doing our own thing independently of others.

carpass and nzoth doesnnt drop anything for me. I think you missed that part. those are the bosses that drop 480 gear.
The raid trinkets are negligable when there’s one coral is still bis for alot of people.

If all you care about is your ilvl, then I suppose you can definitely take a back seat from raiding.

But raiding combined with m+ you will gear up a ton faster. You will progress in both faster.

Some people enjoy the raids themselves. If you don’t, you can definitely rely on your 1 pug a week.

And completing the raid on mythic is -still- the most impressive thing you can do in this game. Again, if loot was the only reason you raid, I dunno what to tell you.

Most people raid mythic for the prestige of killing hard bosses. The loot is just secondary.

This is my main issue with it. Gearing up happens a lot faster with M+, so burnout comes sooner. Raids get cleared faster so there’s less over all to do in the game unless people find spamming the same dungeon consistently fun.

This, to me, isn’t about what other people enjoy doing. It’s just the fact that it greatly affects other aspects of the game that I partake in. I don’t want to bother raiding past AoTC because we’re already geared out through M+. There’s no point in running the raid more.

Sadly, I don’t think anything but tier sets will fix that, and Blizz already stated no tier sets at the start of Shadowlands.

yeah i do enjoy logging in to raid and progress on mthic raden and wipe over and over and over again.

that is really fun.

Thats the thing. If mythic raiders wipe ona boss they dont get anything, but if m+ fails to time, they still get loot.

LOl what gives?
