ive had my key listed for hour now. Zero tanks have queued. 2 low healers. we just rotate dps spot they sit for few min then they leave. Blizzard is it time to stop making tanks and healers not fun yet? this has gotten so bad you cant even form a group if your not a tank.

What level key? And how low were they?
Anything under a +7 gives worse vault loot then a tier 8 Delve. Why would tanks go pug in M+ and deal with that, when they can just solo Delves?

Its just a stupid +2 key. only healers have queued are duo queues with 570 dps or healer. Yes they probably can heal it but its definitely on low side. especially for their carry dps partner.
I mean one M+ is actually fun which delves are not. Two its all about establishing high enough key to get Mythic track vaults. Delve loot isnt actually good loot.
believe me i dont want to do +2 either… i just need level a key to actually be able make a group that matters… Im on 610 shaman in this content.

Blame the toxicness towards tanks over the years for this result. I tried tanking in legion, never again.

So why would they join your group and push your key, when they can run their own? Tanks know their value, they know they are rare, they have no reason to join other groups.
As a healer or DPS now I’d just filter groups that already have a tank and not bother signing up for ones that do not

I dunno ive never seen a good tank have any ill will towards them. There nothing wrong with some criticism… got to learn to get better at the game.

That too. As a tank I absolutely CANNOT handle people pulling for me. Trying to pull off DPS or a healer who pulls… or they pull stuff I wanted to skip, or pull too much etc. (more then I am comfortable with)

I haven’t done any M+ this week. Just waiting for the weekend when friends will be available.
In the past I pugged a lot of M+ but I’m busy doing delves and other stuff instead and don’t really feel like pugging harder content on them when the rewards aren’t much better. I’d have to pug +10s for M+ to be worth my time and most of my alts aren’t even geared enough for +10. I doubt they’d even get invited to a +7 so they might as well just get a vault from delve 8s that gives the same reward.

thats usuallya sign of you pulling too little or not fast enough. DPS play around your pulls. you want to pull around their cooldowns.
With delves you need to be getting to around 600 iLvl to get considered this week. There’s also a premium on AoE stuns and interupts this week due to the affix.
First ones the hardest, but once you time a couple it starts to get easier to get in.
But it has been a pain starting out solo this season.

Which is why I only run my own key if I plan to. I warn ahead of time I go at a constant but slower pace, and if they don’t like it they can leave. If they pull too much, I will just leave my own key - I don’t even care. Not dealing with it

LOL quite the take. Id probably leave your key too. I play tanks fast and DPS fast and i cant stand tanks that want to pull like a turtle.

Pulling for tank as a dps isn’t criticism. Neither is insulting them for the healer or DPS’s mistake or like now - DPS missing the Xal’atah orbs so the tank has to take extra huge damage if they don’t.
I find every season-start is like this. It’s a mixture between alot of people raiding, so it’s just slow already. But also people are way over the top anal about ilvl/io for low keys… and alot of people play with their friends mostly during the beginning of the season because alot of people quit after a month or so.
I’m maining a sin rogue and I’m such a pumper I carry every key… but keys have been so slow this week I’ve decided to start a 2nd main (healer) just so I can actually get some good pushing in over the next couple of weeks.

Not turtle. Just not like I am running in the M+ esports. The GOGOGOGO often they pull too much or too fast and cause wipes which waste even more time then a slower but steady pace

At least this isn’t a “game too hard” and more of a “people too mean” post. I suppose this is character development.
So doing your job as the role made you hate tanking?
Also think the better filter settings makes it harder to start a group as DPS. Especially with low iLvl and no IO.
I pick a dungeon or two I want, select needs DPS, has tank, doesn’t have monk and put in a 2 for the search and spam applications until one lets me in.
?? Madge about tanks being scarce but turning your nose up to healers a little on the low side. Begging and choosing and all that.
Others not letting me do my job being the tank doing the leading, the pulling etc. If you want to pull stuff? BE A TANK
