M+ Dungeon Tuning Incoming

Yeah, but you can avoid that problem by choosing who you play with. In this case they’re taking a mechanic that the whole group can interact with to play well and making it a healer only problem. Just tripling down on the M+ is all about survivability design that they’ve had all expansion.

It’s not a healer only problem because dps can use defensives. And if they do, at times, they don’t even need healing.

The idea that something can be a dps problem doesn’t work because people start dying when stuff lives too long (all those dps decreases etc.)

Incorporeal is something everyone can deal with and yet people complain so much about it.

I have seen Shadow Priest die to diseases last season while talented into the dispel.

I have seen people not get rezzed because the Ret Paladin didn’t have it in their bar

If you are pugging then its hard to picj, it’s like a lottery

I rarely find groups that struggle with incorporeal anymore. In fact when I’m on my priest I get mad because people CC them before I can cast mind control.

I just don’t agree with the decision to take a mechanic that the entire group can interact with and replace it with a bunch of damage that will fall almost completely on one person. DPS being able to use personal defensives to deal with maybe 1 cast the entire boss fight isn’t very engaging or helpful. The whole group having to interrupt the cast or deal with massive damage is better game play.

to be fair, there’s nothing to heal outside of soulrend.

And plenty of people don’t.

Yes, delete all pvp content, all quest content, all world content. Should be able to just raid without needing to gear. Oh, and get rid of all loot.

Data and feedback suggests that Murozond’s Rise, Throne of the Tides, and Atal’Dazar are outliers in terms of difficulty. While Murozond’s Rise and Throne of the Tides are too difficult, Atal’Dazar is proving too easy and may affect player progression through the content in a negative way.

Our adjustments aim to better align overall balance across the Mythic+ dungeon pool for Season 3.

this has got to be the worst post ive ever seen lol… ez for who the top 1 %… you guys make the game unbearable for the avg gamer. i think the devs should go pug to +20s only playing a dps. they will quit the game

Maybe you shouldn’t expect to pug +20 on WEEK one.

thats why i said pug (to) 20’s plural, lmaoooo good one guy

lower your goals. It’s week one of the patch.

Difficulty can still drastically vary.

They should make galakrond’s fall harder.

testing on live is so frustrating, i mean sure, you get teh badge of pre-nerfed content honor, but ffs, do PTR things on PTR, not on live.

Good. That last hallway in ToT was easily 15 times harder than anything else in the season.

As far as DoI, the difficulty had nothing to do with Tyr. Going over 225K healing in a group of 5 during a trash pack of 3 mobs because of this insane aoe damage was the issue.

I think you’re doing it wrong. I don’t recall hitting 225k.

AD was indeed easier than the other dungeons, idk if the yazma buff was the correct way of making it harder tho…

Hold on… what? LOL… pretty dumb change to toss in right before tyrannical week when no one has even fought this boss on tyrannical yet.

I’ll be skipping anything over like a 10 in there until this is hot fixed.

Yah… only happens when people were pulling multiple dragons on accident… Honestly i just wanted to complain.

hey man good news

the dungeon is extremely overtuned now because of their change  glad to know i was, unsurprisingly, correct.

How fast did it take to wipe on Yazma?

Just did a 17 to test before I pushed higher and wracking pain was not bad. No extra dot and it does not chunk too terribly hard, key is still pretty free.

I still don’t agree with any tyr changes till they have more data though.
