As a tank the last boss of rise feels like a huge outlier. On a +20 his breath is hitting for 60% of my health through a 4 stack of IF and SI. I ended up doing 101k hps as a bear on the pull we downed it with the healer doing another 166k.

HPS is not a reliable indicator of difficulty.

Yeah, I’m actively avoiding both of the dungeons because they are way harder for no reason at all. I feel like most of the other dungeons work fine, but those are a complete miss.

Please disable entangling during Chrono Lord Deios.

why? what’s wrong with it.

You get entangling with the orb and you either get stunned from entangling or let orb go off.

Entangling during last phase is just terrible too if you’re a priest for ex.

a stun isn’t the end of the world. No need for adjustment.

Which is why I also stated how much mitigation I used. The boss requires all of the tanks mitigation as well as all of the healers and still requires almost 300k healing.

I doubt the healer is really paying attention to you, Most likely incidental heals from AOE or routine upkeep stuff.

Nope all 10 wipes were due to running out of personal mitigation. On the final pull he rolled his in coordination. With no mitigation the breath hits for more than double my health. So it absolutely requires IF stacks + mitigation just to get a hit that takes you from 100% to 10%.

Well it’s Arcane damage so Ironfur won’t do anything against it. It does hit for a lot, though, especially when those Keeper adds are chonking with their non-interruptable chain-cast zap blasts while he’s also doing his breath attack.

Yeah that is I think part of the problem. Is that our normal mitigation isnt working on it. but I get autoed afterwards.

Recalls, warrior tanks dying (last week on fort.) This week, timed a 20 in a try, on tyrannical. DK tank didn’t really need heals.

Well at least you’re consistent with desiring actually anti-fun gameplay.

Eat a stun that likely kills you or wipe the group. “Fun!”

It’s a DK vs magic damage, of course he didn’t need heals.

The stun doesn’t kill you.

Last phase you get stunned on movement portion you’re dying.

In case you are a priest, make sure to run Phantasm, fade will remove entangling without the need to move. You can also put two points into the fade cd talent to make it have a 20s cd and have it up for every entangling, it is also off the gcd. However I’m not against movement restriction things not overlapping.
