Stuff like Mistcaller now spawns 2 foxes, Hadal Darkfathom now spawns 3 sets of waves, and/or waves no longer wipe away the frost patches, mobs in NW no longer do friendly fire, Stitchflesh Abombs have reduced HP, but spawn in pairs, Nalthor now instantly kills you and blocks Brez for 40 seconds if you try to cheese the downphase, and sends 2 people down a once, but recast time increased.

Not even, just like… the timers and bosses/mobs need a tuning pass before even considering such. A mists 10 key plays out as easy as a necrotic wake 7 key.
The timed portion of the dungeon quite literally is the problem with Mythic+ dungeons. It would lose nothing to remove the timers and still just simply be challenge modes.
All of the toxicity around Mythic+ comes from people trying to “Optimize” an entire dungeon run to make it as fast as possible and skipping as much as possible to keep up with the timer specifically.
Oh I’m not disagreeing the timers are stinky. It’s just that not even considering such, the timer values chosen and how dungeons were balanced seems like a toss up.
It’s almost like the first season shouldn’t have included a ton of dungeons from ages past for no reason while we have perfectly valid dungeons that are just sitting around brand new, doing nothing.
Blizzard is notorious for not taking care of anything but the most recent expansion.
Gilded Crests and Mythic Track loot should both be obtainable at lower keystones to allow for more easier gear progression going into +10 and higher levels. It allows for the lower and middle tier players a better chance to ascend to higher end-game content. Right now you just get hard-stuck around 614-615 ilvl in +8s unless you are in near full guild groups or pugs consisting mostly of people who have already timed that key on that keystone level. The top 1-5% of the game is being catered to while the other 95-99% rot.
People often excuse Challenger’s peril saying “well duhhh it makes sense that dying should be penalized” and the thing is it already was. By 5 seconds each per death. If I wanted my key to be over in one wipe I would start raiding I wouldn’t do m+, please get rid of it.
Remove the 15s death affix, it is the most toxic affix this game mode has ever had for pugs.
Stick this garbage at 12+ keys if you must
The punishment for dying is enough without also losing over an entire minute to a wipe
