M+ does not feel good to a majority of players - Thoughts?

Its not that delves are being added, its rather how M0=m6 are completely pointless outside of practicing to push high keys. You get better loot, more frequently, and quicker in a t8 delve than m+. So it directly impacts player numbers for m+, largely because delves are the path of least resistance for gearing now.

People complain about m+ being a loot pinata, delves are even moreso

I could say the same about you and your self-serving nonsense.

The idea that “in Wrath everyone raided, like everyone!!!” Sorry, not sorry, I can’t help but laugh at such an idiotic admission that you avoided anyone who didn’t play like you so you could pretend they didn’t exist. This “I was everybody’s friend and knew everybody on my and every other server” personally is just so hilarious.

I said “serious raiding”. Which I clearly was not including LFR.

You have a key, list it

Some people just play games to chill and saw an option where they don’t need to be sweaty gamers for progression so they rolled with it. I’m guilty

Example? Blizzard seems to acknowledge the majority of players don’t run Mythic Keystone dungeons, hence the dungeon difficulty restructuring in Season 4 of Dragonflight.

Becoz in few weeks, Delves would no longer upgrade my gear. By the time, it got to that point, I should be ready to face M+7. For now, I am climbing M score
currently at M 1568. Yup, M+ loots at End of Dungeon is low ilevel. I have gazillion Valorstones. What would I do with it? Use them on M+ gear that has better stats.

You are not seeing M+ advantage right now. You will see after few weeks.

Yup, I paid sub for Blizz to bring me content. And one of these main content is Mythic+. I am just garnishing to what I paid for. But I wont be done after M+, there’s Raid
and even PvP. I have 25+ weeks to consume all these content. I wont be running out of things to do even if I am done with Delves.

Blizzard isn’t tuning Mythic raids around delve loot, though. As somebody who just started progging Mythic Ovi’nax, I don’t feel any pressure to do delves.

M+, however, is mandatory, every week, for every progression guild. Because Blizzard tunes the raids on the assumption that everyone is doing it. Therefore, if you do not do it, the raids are overtuned for your ilvl.

If Blizzard would, once and for all, separate M+ gear from the rest of the game, like they do with PvP gear now, then M+ could have whatever it wants, as far as I’m concerned. Because it wouldn’t affect myself, and my friends, anymore.

But for now, we’re required to spend hours every week farming content we hate. To hell with M+.

Less focus on interupts, dispels, stuns etc. If there’s an interupt mechanic, the tank should be the only one that focuses it. Mechanics requiring dispels should only max out at whatever the highest CD is for all healer specs. Mechanics requiring dps to move around should be the only thing they need to worry about outside of pure dps pumping.

If you want a game that brain-dead, why are you even setting foot in M+? Just go play classic, or stick to world quests and such.

i think if it’s not a fun pillar, go to another.

I love the delves addition to the geaering journey, the problem in my opinion is no gilded at 7
that is wildly punishing. Followed by no Mythic vault until 10
 that is absurd.

Just to be clear, thats a hero vault
from 3-9 ! SEVEN key levels that all reward low hero gear.

Why do I need a hero vault at 7,8, and 9
When I’m already getting hero end of dungeon at 7, 8, and 9?!?

I feel that the point of having multiple difficulty levels is so that people can find a level that feels good to them.

but I know people aren’t going to be satisfied with that answer since we all believe we’re good enough and/or deserve to do the hardest content and get the bestest rewards.

If M+ is too difficult for you, feel free to take a stab at Mythic Ovi’nax or such. :sunglasses:

It is absolutely the correct answer. If somebody’s interest and skill levels top out around a +6 key, then that’s where they should stay and have fun.

The problem is that M+ for years was just a massive gravy train of welfare loot, and now that they aren’t getting it anymore, M+ players are angry that the flow into the pig trough has run dry.

So now damage DPS should avoid becomes a healer problem? I’m not saying there isn’t room for some 1 shots to move to this model, but nearly all instances of avoidable damage should stay out of the realm of another miracle the healer is expected to perform.

there was a season that had no cap from day 1. we could just farm and upgrade all the way without caps it was glorious. i even made 2 fully geared alts that season.

i dont quite remember which season it was but there were return to karazhan dungeons in the rotation.

i wish that mentality came back.

Change affixes back to bringing in extra mechanics, but reduce damage and HP scaling to compensate.

Adjust the End of Dungeon drop tracks to allow myth, but change it so you can only loot each dungeon once per week.

He does this to people in-game as well.

They would have to massively increase M+ difficulty to do that.

Challenger’s Peril.

Something I saw with upcoming D4 season is the ability to add something to a key to target farm items. They can do something similar with m+, where instead of just 1 person with the key starting the run, all 5 people need to hit the pedestal, and adding some sort of currency to the tribute will allow them to upgrade either their crests or their loot.
