Alright, you are attempting to do literally the hardest content in the game (mid-end mythic bosses) and are complaining that you need to do a little bit of M+ to heighten your chances of doing so properly.
I hate to break it to you but “going the extra mile” is usually how people succeed at difficult tasks; I haven’t heard of too many doctors that pass the MCAT without studying.
Mythic raid participation is low because finding 19-21 other competent people with matching schedules and goals is difficult, not because the bosses are just so insanely hard that only around 3% of WoW players could ever clear them. Being a mythic raider doesn’t necessitate that you are a good player, it necessitates that you have a ton of free time to dedicate to the game.
I reached top 4000 on the NA LoL ranked ladder when I played that game; there is not a doubt in my mind I could be a cutting edge raider if I wanted to hard-dedicate 20 hours of my week to wiping endlessly on bosses because people (potentially including myself) keep misplaying.
In what way? I cannot even use my drops without shards. Which are used up after two items.
How are raiders vastly ahead of me in gear?
I have a belt that would be an upgrade in my bags since week one. However I have to keep avoiding it over other options. It’s 424 and my belt is 421, but it has a socket and leech. So I am stuck using it.
You act like I can just run until I get 15 pieces and boom they are all max. It doesn’t work that way at all.
If it did I wouldn’t see raiders 10 ilvls above me in my keys.
Team C hasnt done Heroic becoz they are ungeared. It’s just the 2nd week. What’s the rush?
Team B and Team A has accelerated their gear so they had Heroic Boss kills. But What’s the rush? What are they gonna do for the rest of the weeks when they kill all 9 Heroic Bosses soon? I dont care about these groups.
I am with Team C. So what if i dont have Heroic Boss kills yet? I have more than 15 weeks to go. I will get there. No need to rush things.

I get your point of view here, but at the same time there has always been a rush man.
Not everyone plays for the same reasons. Some people literally only play to parse 1 percent, or end the top 1 percent of raider io.
It does suck really bad when you are limited in gear by the content you are doing. For top end players there is something called “staying ahead of the curve”. Falling behind it can make your life really difficult.
I know people who have already had twice as many chances to get the M+ item they want than are theoretically possible to have from raid in an entire season.
Trinkets and BiS weapons are in raids, but for most classes BiS weapons are crafted… by materials that are best obtained through M+.
Your only legitimate complaints about better gear in raids is in regards to trinkets, which are not needed at all to do any level pf m+ or to perform well on it.
Not to mention you get a free tier piece from ksm or aotc. Go fight heroic sarkareth and then do a couple 13 or 14s and tell me which is easier.
The game forces you to do m+. You shouldn’t need any more evidence outside of this very simple fact. You cannot spam pug groups and max out weekly crest limits in any other content but m+
The loot you get from end-of-dungeon runs for 20s is equivalent to mid-heroic gear. This would hurt everyone equally, the bad raiders that feel the need to have all 447 gear and M+ only players. A lot of people would probably just quit the game if they did this since most of the gear from M+ is bad; I would sure find it fun for my one piece of VP loot to be one of the three necks that I’ll never use because of Lariat.
I would actually be fine with this if they made tier available via M+ from week 1 like it is in raid; I would love to never step foot in a raid again.
That’s the fear of those guys being carried. If you are the carrier, you dont care if you are behind. You would get there no matter what according to the pace you set.
It happens to me every season and i reach my goals no matter what. I am not on a rush so I just take it slow. I have nothing to do when i beat WoW right away.
