My GF is leveling her priest and I was trying to help her gear up by tanking for her on my DK and it will not let us queue anything at all together. Is it a GS thing that limits my DK from queuing in normal lvl 78-80 dungeons.

Only 1 dungeon is available on the list at any time for me. I’m 31 and both friends are 33. We can’t queue together. My only option is Graveyard, which they’re somehow too high for even though it specifies 27-37, and their only option is library and I’m too low, even though it specifies 30-40. What is this garbage?

I have looked at the whole list. I can’t queue for Reg HoL, Reg CoS, Reg UP, Reg Toc, Reg anything. I can without her in the group and she can without me in the group.
Something is clearly wrong. The first blue post quasi acknowledging it was recently done. Though they claim they can’t find anything wrong to fix lmao.
Whatever it is, should be an easy fix if assigned to a competent person.

Yeah, there obviously seems to be an issue.
There shouldn’t really be one dungeon option available at any point during leveling except for when you first unlock RDF at 15.

Just curious – have you both tried disabling all addons to make sure something is not interfering?
I just want that stupid “You aren’t in a party” error to go away. I think Questie is what’s doing it, because every time someone does anything quest-related in a dungeon, it goes off.
Theres also libraries that many Unit Frame addons use to communicate incoming healing (so if you see a highlight on someones health bar that is being targetted by a heal)
These libraries communicate on the party chat in the background.
Because RDF is using Instance chat and not party chat, that’s where the errors come from.

I think they limited the dungeons available at each level to try and fix long queues. I have been leveling and the longest DPS queue I get is 7 min and it usually pops before that. Only ever have 1 - 3 dungeons available. If this is a “fix” and the queues stay this short then I am all for it.
I wish that was the case because the 51-61 slog with only the BRD prison as an option is rather unpleasant.
The RDF level requirements are terrible, I can’t use my herilooms spamming dungeons with my friend who doesn’t have them or I will out level him and have to wait for him to grind to be able to queue together again. They should make the level difference be 2-5 levels not just 2 levels
That makes no sense at all.
Limiting the level range reduces the number of people you can get grouped with. If the RDF level range was the same as the instance level range groups would fill faster as you now can draw from 5-6 levels of players instead of 2.
We had a 75, two 77, 78, and an 80 trying to random. The only people that could actually queue up together were the 77s and 78.
It’s clearly broken. They just need to remove the top limit for the Northrend dungeons and expand the limits for the rest to the minimum for the instance and +2 of the final boss. Done, fixed, GG.

yeah it’s awful I tried to RDF with my 80 friend when I was 79. Very frustrating to learn it wasn’t an option for us.
