This is why the loyalist storyline was a mistake to begin with.

Blizzard knows where they were taking Sylvanas in Shadowlands and they say in an interview themselves they have no plans for a loyalist story, aside from some dialog here and there.

Which ultimately makes being loyal to Sylvanas utterly pointless.

If you don’t want to pretend to play along, and choose to “canonically” oppose the Horde after all this, you’re free to strip your loyalist toons and avoid logging into them, to simulate them being put in jail like the rest of those who refused to renounce their ties to Sylvanas.

You could also go on a rampage in Stormwind until you die and leave them as a ghost until Shadowlands.

They had that option at the end of WW2 so I get where you are coming from. Loyalists should have a special quest in orgrimmar to stand before the counsel and proclaim loyalty and then your character is lead to the gallows and is hung. After you complete the quest your character is deleted. Seems suitable and it wouldn’t affect the surrounding lore which would make this “Durotar Trials” patch pretty easy to implement since you would never have to address the problem of what to do with the loyalists after!

It’s a quest with a play on words. Warchief is a term for a leader of war. Queens are monarchs that never see war themselves.

And I’m literally saying that she just held no title faction wise. What she calls herself is her business. She had no such rule their and didn’t even “rule” like one.

She was a warchief. Now there is no such title either. There is a council. And all of them would likely laugh at her if she even attempted to come back.

I don’t care what her opinion is. Most of the Horde sees her as a traitor. And I side with the Horde, always. Vol’jin was the rightful Warchief. She was the Usurper. She is just a bad schemer. She always fails.
