Low lvl dungeons are so toxic

So here is the thing what’s the deal with the toxic behavior in low lvl dungeons? Im trying to lvl my warrior and tanking dungeons doing fine no issues and somebody wipes cause they aggro an add and throws a fit cause I didn’t taunt it in time. I am just trying to lvl and have a good time and its always shammans . I don’t get it I am not a perfect player I am casual and like to have fun. I don’t get why players are so toxic. Its low lvl its not like we are in raids or anything . And why its always shamans I don’t get either. And players wonder why there are less tanks.

welcome to classic, where you can only have fun if you are an elite classic only player, no room for casual and fun players.

but this is retail not classic

Don’t worry about it dog, just mute them. The game is not hard, just a bunch of 3/10 players raging acting like they are elite. Nothing new here, they do the same thing in retail. Just finish the run and remember you don’t wanna group with them in the future.

It’s pervasive in all of wow. People expect you to know every pull to every dungeon and know how to play your class to the highest level. They expect you to have read all of icy veins and know everything otherwise they’ll deem you bad.

I won’t say that I’m the most patient when playing wow, but sometimes people like me just need to take a step back and remember that not everyone has played wow for years or is at the same skill level.

Just play your own game, don’t mind what others say if it bothers you. People will be toxic, but just toss them on ignore or tell the group that you aren’t a tanking god and you’re still learning and ask them to bare with you. You can also tell them that if they don’t want to deal with you then they can vote to kick and they can have fun waiting for another tank while you hop into another instant queue.

but but classic is all about the community I was told…

Have you seen madseason’s video? It’s a really informative analysis on the WoW classic community.

The reason why its “always shamans” is because shamans have zero ways to dump threat and they get HUGE threat spikes beyond what is capable of any other class at early levels, especially if they are stupid noobs that don’t know how the class works and they use rockbitter weapon and/or earthshock to dps.

For his communities server, maybe. The rest of the classic community is VASTLY DIFFERENT because of one reason, someone is streaming that server. They HAVE TOO behave differently.

Nope, his analysis was pretty accurate for EVERY classic server. That’s just the community, its not specific to any server.

It’s probably your server community. I’ve been on Grobbulus day 1 and haven’t come across anyone throwing a fit over wipes. Everyone is usually understanding and keeps pushing on.

We had an instance where the instance shot up in levels (Uldaman) and we couldn’t push past to the last room because everyone couldn’t hit anything. After our armor got too low in durability we all agreed we were done. No fuss.

Sorry your server is a drag.

highly doubt that. People act differently when they find out something, like a streamer is on the server, especially if they like the guy/girl/animal. Why? Because to them, if they act nice, they think they’ll get something out of it from them at the end of the day. But the reality is it’s not like that, or anywhere close to that.

Oh crap this explains everything.

One of the main reasons I don’t play retail. The cross realm LFD makes people think they have a license to treat people like poopoo.

This toon was on grob day one till transfers came out. The grob community was not THAT close like you think it is. But like I said, it’s different when it a guild community vs the server community.

I’ve gotten super lucky then

Nope, sorry. His video was a resounding success, because everyone could relate and agree. This is OUR community, whether we want it to be or not, it is fact.

Are you talking about “The Worst of Classic World of Warcraft?”

I agree with this analysis. I play on two different servers and I’ve never encountered behavior like this. Perhaps you should look for a new one.
