Low lvl dungeons are so toxic

Thnx for proving that even in Retail (with Duel-Spec and Level Scaling), that the “lack of Tanks” has nothing to do with “being in the wrong spec”.

Yeah when I was trying to learn tank I got yelled at, not even for losing agro or anything but for just going slow. I stopped after that. And seriously people wonder why theres so few tanks when people are nervous about trying to learn tank and getting yelled at about it

Youre on the wrong forum homie

it’s true, i’ve seen quite a few shamans open up on pulls with chain lightning, which is fine, as long as they understand the moment they do it, they’re the main tank and they need to make sure to keep mobs in place(even if it means they have to die), instead of trying to run from them.

Nothing is worse than “aoe dps” kiting mobs away from the main cleave, so the melee have to chase the mobs off the “aoe dps”, which by the time you reach them, pull 3 more packs and you are no longer bored.

From my experience, a lot of hunters and mages mess up the primary cleave with multishot and blizzard as well. A good hunter might feign death or run to melee cleave when this happens, but mages almost always just kite the mobs and we have to chase them off them.

As a shaman dungeon tank I always open with chain lightning though, with earth shock on primary marked target. Gives me plenty of time to gain threat on secondary targets while dps plows through the primary one.

Edit and you can select the forum destination over again.

A good hunter doesn’t feign death over a problem he caused with badly timed aoe except as a last resort since that usually sends the mobs to the healer and often causes a wipe.

also not false.
