Just started a NEW Warlock level 1 and went to “Exiles Reach” (Newb Island)
I had an issue with almost every quest because my only casts are 1.8 seconds long.
Every other class has instant attacks and most of them kill the low level quest enemies. I spent a lot of down time trying to cast and having other players ONE shot the enemy before I could cast and get credit for the kill.
hunters
warriors
paladins
druids
all of them were ONE shotting enemies before my 1.8 second cast could go off. I am even in full BOA with haste and still have 1.8 second cast timer on every attack.
NEW players with no BOA would probably have 2 second cast times and struggle to level
that’s my point… as a level 1-10 Warlock I have ZERO instant cast abilities. Everything including my DoT is a 1.8 second cast. Warlocks used to have insta cast DoT’s but Blizzard changed this.
when every one of your casts are 1.8 seconds AND if you choose to try “Exiles reach” you will not level in TEN minutes because other people will Kill your target before you cast a 1.8 second or 2 second DoT or Shadow bolt
I’ve exile reached with like every class. Never had an issue with any of them. I usually do the free to play mode and don’t pay for a sub, so I’m constantly doing the Exile’s Reach and then dungeons up to 20. I can’t really say there’s ANY class that doesn’t absolutely blow through that entire starter zone with complete ease.
