Low Level PvP? Is it dead?

So I just returned to the game last week after not playing since Cata… I decided to make a low level character to run some BG’s with… I wouldn’t call him a twink per-say but I froze at level 19 thinking it would be a popular bracket… I sat in a queue for 50 min while playing Hearthstone on my phone. I decided after 50 min there probably wasn’t enough people to ever find a game so I started leveling to 29 instead. I sat in a queue for 30 min there before giving up. Are there any brackets under 120 that see activity? I can’t believe those brackets are dead… they used to be so popular.

the twink brackets were never popular people dont make twinks to fight other twinks

It’s probably because people level so fast now.
Or more people like to play Demon Hunter / Death Knight!

Heya! Lots of people love low lvl pvp but they split the brackets making locked exp players unable to get games. (see above crying as to why)
You will only get games if you have EXP ON.
The current way to get your retail low lvl BG on is to make a 20 account or to make a new toon to lvl with. Enchant your looms and BG away.

Classic is a whole nother can of worms. You will have to go to the classic forums for that.

Whats not to love? All the fun of pvp and none of that azerite/essence/corruption rollercoaster of fun that is BfA endgame.

I play cap and low lvls and to me pvp is more fun when it’s not so convoluted.

Well depends on the bracket. 120 is disgusting due to the systems implemented in BfA. 10-29 is disgusting due to obscene levels of class/spec stacking and the lack of toolkit to overcome fotm exploiters.

30-119 though, very fun.

If you queued with xp off, you will not be put into a bracket with xp on players. And since queues never pop, most people who play twinks have stopped playing them or quit the game.

I enjoy 20s a lot. Since I lvl up my toons it’s pretty fun to see how well I can do against ftps and the odd 29 exploiter. They really should fix that. I don’t see the point in being able to roll the wrecking ball when nobody else can.
39s were and are my favorite but all my 39 toons are locked and you lvl out of the bracket so fast. :frowning:
Around 100s the sync starts going nuts and passed 110 sync players rule the grounds.

They patched the exploit. I have not seen any twinks, and all I do is leveling bgs.

I’ve seen 2 this week. Much earlier in the week though.
I used to see them way more often so it’s good they fixed it!

Unless there is a new method to get in BGs. If so, good for them.

its reduced xp

How does that work? In order to get that debuff you need to be in a party with someone who has their XP locked. If grouped with an XP locked the queue will not pop at all. Unless they group with them to get the debuff, leave group, then queue for a bg?

The debuff only lasts for 5 minutes, so how is that an effective method when you might be in queue for anywhere from 3-5 minutes or higher depending on the bracket?

i explained it in another thread but once you get into the bg the buff lasts the duration of the game, then the process must be repeated to que again. no hacks like the last “process” that edited data packets sent to the server.

They’re all in classic

Not at all…

Unfortunately, blizzard made the mistake of merging brackets of exp of and on together in legion because of stat templates. I played a ton in that expansion. Blizzard then decided, well If it did not work in wrath, maybe it will work in bfa when we separate brackets between expoff again. It did not.

At the time that the expon/off separation was added in wrath of the lich king, it was a unique new idea. Now it is tireing and old as heck. Like, can we please try something else this time around. expof/on separation was a fine compromise 10 years ago, But it is not anymore.

I stopped caring once the ques were merged in legion and then completely taken out and separated again in bfa. You can’t hold on to anything with pvp in retail, and i don’t understand it anymore.
