Low FPS (with a good laptop)

Hi,
I’m having very low FPS in raid (~15) and very very low (~5) in certain parts of raid encounters, Jaina especially.

My laptop specs: i7-7700HQ w/ Turboboost, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA 1060 6GB.

Things I’ve tried already: 1) changing between DX12/DX11/legacy. 2) Disable full screen optimization. 3) Using bare min in-game graphics settings, disabling all but 3 addons. 4) Running WoW as administrator. 5) Made sure it was using my NVIDIA graphics card 6) Made sure power settings were set to Maximum Performance 7) Updated all drivers.

Would really appreciate any help, I am consistently failing certain mechanics due to the FPS and it’s really frustrating. Thank you!

The dxdiag is still showing old Intel graphics drivers. Since these control the handoff to the nvidida drivers, it’s important to update these as well.

If you’re using dx12, you’ll really want to make sure those stay up to date.
