Low-decibel snack to replace Corn Nuts

I really enjoy Corn Nuts as a gaming snack, but the decibel count is a bit too high. It’s hard to hear anything while eating Corn Nuts.

What’s a suitable replacement with a lower decibel count? Not looking for degenerate snacks full of added sugar, just looking for a high shelf-life snack that requires no preparation, but is still recognizable as food (IE Corn Nuts come from corn, beef jerky comes from cows) with a low decibel level that is reasonably cost effective.

Embrace the volume and make your own parched corn!

I feel like you answered your own question with beef jerky

Cashews, maybe - they’re a bit softer but might be louder crunch than you’re wanting

Raw cashews are great because they’re surprisingly sweet and creamy for a nut. Keep them in the fridge, though.

No jokes, please.

Ehh, idk. I think I would get tired of eating beef jerky after a really short period

Low decibel? Try chewing with your mouth closed.

Oh come on, this needs more appreciation

I’m not sure what you think that would do…

How about a fresh baked cookie/brownie mix

Brookies! I like those… Trader Joe’s have some that are pretty good.

Isn’t it crazy that I could ask for a bag of “shelled” or “unshelled” sunflower seeds and expect the same thing? If I wanted sunflower seeds still in their husks, I’d just say sunflower seeds.

We’re not all from the boonies. I mean, I am, but not everyone is.
