Tortilla chips? Maybe not as loud and similar taste to plain corn nuts, well depending on the brand.

(Chicharrones) is a good alternatives to corn nut but in moderations

A lower decibel snack that takes some preparation would be peanut butter on Ritz crackers with or without raisins (up to you).
Dried fruit is another good alternative as long as you aren’t drinking energy drinks (can cause chain flatulence).

If you like crispy corn snacks that aren’t too noisy I tried Pop Corners recently and they were pretty good. I like the sweet chili flavor.
A huge hunking spoonful of peanut butter. That’ll keep you busy for awhile.
