Lost my spot this week in ulduar (warrior)

You’d be surprised how bad the average raider in wotlk classic. And how that issue is mostly a big server issue. So yes it’s a drop in the sea.

My guild alone is 0.1% of the server.

So it literally like you said won’t effect 99.9% so what’s it matter???

It’s not like it’s limiting usz its just annoying.

I’m saying it’s good for the 0.1% and yes it would be bad for the rest. Higher gold cap just means inflation.

X for doubt.

Whitemane Horde pop 19577
Get carried members 201

201/19465= 0.01%

There’s way more people than those numbers. Those are weekly active raiders.

This is only for people logging.

We are excluding anyone in my guild not participating in logs/raids as well as those outside of the guild who do not participate. Those numbers would cancel each other out.

Anyway top 1% or top 0.1% this is a small issue with it. And that issue would affect more people negatively than positively. And it’s fine for gold to lose meaning if you’re capped, that’s the whole point of capping it else why have a cap?

The cap is only there because it’s a technical limitation of the game at the time, not because it’s a design choice.

It’s both. It’s not easy to raise the limit but it’s not impossible as they’ve done it multiple time if they wanted to.

Inflation doesn’t exist.

It’s literally a meme in an MMO.

Again the restrictions are silly cuz it isn’t account gold cap it’s character cap.

It isn’t stoping us from having 20m+ gold.

Lol

It still caps you with the character cap, and mostly because Blizzard doesn’t like the idea of account wide gold. Which I think would be better to cap of course and to use.

When cata came out they changed the system to where they could actually use a gold cap by design and not limitation. It is 1 Million gold.

Inflation can only exist if the ways we make gold are capped by the server.

If for instance the ONLY way to make gold is doing dailies which are predetermined by the game itself and since completing the daily always awards the same amount of gold no matter how much gold is on the server.

However this isn’t the case, dailies are the worst way to make gold because of this.

Making gold off players is always directly related to what stuff costs.

MMO inflation is a meme.

That isn’t how inflation works and there’s many factors for it.
Just stop.

Don’t feel like scrolling up to whatever argument yall are having but this is definitely wrong.

He’s trolling. His entire post history is 99 threads whining about warriors. It’s a legitimate report.

Thanks for playing

No it isn’t.

Inflation can only exist if prices go up and wages don’t.

That isn’t how MMOs work.

Prices go up because the amount of gold in the server goes up however wages go up proportionate to what goods go up.

You could be on a server where haste potions are one gold each and I could be on a server or that same potion is six gold each however on my server I make gold six times faster than you do.

The only way inflation would exist is if the only way we each make gold is through daily quests which are predetermined and are not based off the amount of gold on your server.

We’re me doing a daily quest and you doing a daily quest net the same goal but since my haste potions are six gold each the gold I make has less spending power

Incorrect. Inflation is determined independent of wage growth. In fact, rising wages IS one of the leading causes of inflation.
