Lost my spot this week in ulduar (warrior)

Right in his heart

Your GM was in here not long ago asking to have gold cap raised so he didn’t have to juggle millions across multiple of his accounts.

Your officers were openly bragging about how much they made at the start of Ulduar, especially with Mim’s head. You’d probably be surprised who I am if I posted from my main. There are a group of progression guilds on Whitemane who all run GDKPs and sell gold. They don’t exactly hide it when people come to GDKPs. If someone doesn’t have enough gold but wants an item they get spotted by one of your officers so gold doesn’t have to change hands, and get paid irl for it.

He provided the screenshot you asked for. Now its your turn to show us what you got to base that accusation off of

He didn’t provide the screenshot I asked for. He provided a public welcome page.

With a list of all channels. None of which say anything about buying gold.

There aren’t even any Ulduar raids there, because we don’t run gdkps as a guild anymore though some individuals do run their own in the server wide gdkp channel.

Yes, they took down the buyer’s channel or hid it.

Can’t take down what was never there.

The only screenshots I ever saw of people trying to sell gold in discord was from some alliance guild on bene. And someone trying to tie it to us like it was our discord.

We also need the gold cap raised.

Having to make 20 Bank alts is kind of dumb

Which is logical, but since fishfeast is bad at making gold its auto assumed that youre either buying or selling it

Nah, because then you can still make 20 alts so it’s multiplicatively letting people accumulate more gold.

And what exactly does that do? Require us to just make more characters that is in no way a block to us making gold…

It’s definitely an inconvenience. We sell a mims head or two every week for around 50k eacch, and the boes and enchanting mats/orbs and stuff it adds up really fast.

There’s a cap even for characters, that’s all there is. Once you reach that cap gold shouldn’t have a use for you.

Meh it is kind of ridiculous that the gold cap for individuals is the same as the gold cap for an entire guild.

Not really when you consider that the amount is still ridiculously high for most people anyway.

Yes which is pretty stupid

Like I think in total my guild has over 20 million gold

I don’t think raising the gold cap helps anyone other than the top 0.1% so yes I think it’s really stupid to raise it.

I think most high performing guilds that run multiple raid groups are having this issue though. And in these guilds there are much more than 0.1% of a server population.
