Lost email access and ticket keep disappered

My brother got an issue on his account. I created this topic to help him because his ticket keeps disappearing and he can’t post here due to the required subscription.

Case:
On November 23, he attempted to log in to his Bnet account but was prompted to enter a verification code sent to gmail account. Unfortunately, he cannot access gmail because someone changed the password 1 month ago and unable to recover it.

He created a new account and submit a ticket (US102317678), 1 hour later, he got responses to need more info.

10 minutes after replying and providing additional information, his ticket disappeared from my ticket page. Then he resubmitted the ticket and asked the previous ticket disappear, but after a few minutes, his ticket disappeared again.

Today he tried again to send a ticket to figure out but ticket keep disappear.

I don’t know if this bug or his ticket was avoided.
I would appreciate if anyone has experienced a similar issue or advice.

Unfortunately it sounds like someone hacked the account, especially given

they probably compromised this also.

I’m guessing your friend did not have authentication on either Gmail or Battlenet?

Hopefully account 2 is not already compromised, if that is the case your friend’s computer might be compromised too.

The ticket disappearing means someone with access to the account closed it, or, it was merged into another ticket regarding this account.

I heard from him is he just lost access to his Gmail account. He can still log in to Bnet using the current password but requires a verification code sent to email.

However, he still playing on Friday night. After relogging into Bnet for a few hours, he received a security check sent to email. When he tried to log in to Gmail, he received the message ‘Your password was changed 35 days ago’. My understanding is he has been playing on the same device for at least a month without any issues since his Gmail password was changed.

Yes, he realizes not adding authentication to his Gmail and BattleNet accounts.

On the first ticket, he attached an email issue and got responses, and he provided additional info https://i.ibb.co.com/Fh5Qcrm/Screenshot-6.png. If the ticket was merged, I think the second or last ticket should merge into the first one, but the first ticket is missing too. The reason he create fresh account is wants to track ticket status.

If the ticket was closed or merged by someone with access to the account, I don’t know what to say to my brother; he already answered additional information and had screenshots in-game last couple months to verify ownership.

He hoped to get an answer through his ticket; it has been 3 days since the first ticket was sent, only getting responses Need More Info after that the ticket disappeared.

His best bet would be to make a fresh Battlenet Account (new email) and contact us from that.

Since his old email is compromised, he may need to make yet a 3rd email to use on it once things get sorted - but that is a start.

Does he have his gmail with a cell phone security check?
He should be able to change his gmail password once gmail confirms his cell phone.
Then he should be able to fix the battle.net password as well.

Just to be made aware, for your brother, he doesn’t need a subscription or game time to post on Customer Support forums. Just as long as he has a level 10 character minimum, he can post here in Customer Support

He did on first ticket with ID: US102317678
But it disappeared from ticket page, and he can’t track its status. He wants to know if his ticket is still open or under review.

Does he need to resubmit ticket?

He have a cell phone, but I don’t know why he didn’t add this Gmail account.
he also tried to recover gmail but it take 120 hours.

My brother doesn’t play at retail and had to level up and download the patch, but thanks for your advice.

No, there aren’t any currently open.

That’s why he’s curious every time he sends a ticket, it always disappears.
Is new account can’t send tickets or is this a bug or limitation?

Here is a screenshot proof (personal info censored):

  1. First ticket was sent: https://i.ibb.co.com/vP2dqSY/Screenshot-4.png
  2. And got responses: https://i.ibb.co.com/WHmTXVH/Screenshot-10.png
  3. He reaply responses and provide more info: https://i.ibb.co.com/Fh5Qcrm/Screenshot-6.png

Then ticket was disappear from ticket page. 2x he resubmit ticket after got this message from email, his ticket disappeared

We have received your ticket. You should receive a reply from a Game Master soon.

Hope you figure out what’s going on

This one has some questions.

He may be required to send in ID eventually. We don’t do that much anymore, but it is still sometimes necessary.

he willing to provide ID or anything to prove account ownership, and please give him status ticket on the ticket page.

He’d need to do such in the ticket system when asked, the forums, namely Orlyia and other blues, can’t help in this regard.

Resubmit 4th ticket #102366267 but keep disappered without status/responses.

It looks like open ticket can’t help him or solve his account. I will tell him to wait 5 days to get response from recover gmail.

Thanks anyone to give some advice. I appreciate

Open a new email account and a new battle net account and use that for communication. Then make yet one more email account for blizz ton recover the battle net account to.
