I logged on today and I lost every character on every server I play on. Is this a patch glitch?

Often the launcher sets a different license then the one you would normally play, so check the play button and make sure you pick the correct license if it shows differently.

Just to be sure - not the Battle.net log in itself (though that too would help if you have multiple B.net accounts), but on the game launcher:
Sorry to be redundant, but this has specifically been an issue quite a lot lately. And some people didn’t quite understand what was being asked.

Yup, I checked that. I got on my Classic account and that is fine.
Do you happen to have more than one retail account listed on your launcher?

It looks like you recently logged into a Starter Edition account, WoW#1, Sandmann.
When you switch to Modern World of Warcraft make sure you have your main account selected in the drop down.
Edit: It looks like you are logged into your Mage right now, so I’'m guessing you figured it out.
