Lost a warrior today

Idk much about tech, computers, etc… but I’ve had really good luck with them so I think you’ll like it.

As for what anyone else says, many of them think of how they use a computer and tend to apply that same standard to others.

That may not apply to you. It didn’t for me.

And may it be uploaded into the infinite disk space onto the hard drive in the sky.

Yeah, I have no idea how to make one nor am I spending the price of a small car for a pre built one. If it can run starfield at medium settings is good enough for me

If it literally caught fire, you were doing it wrong.

I’ve never seen a computer with built-in insulation like that. How avant-garde

Would not be the first warrior lost during Spiteful/Incorporeal week.

Speaking of “good ole reliable” gaming PCs, the 2012-era gaming PC I sold to my brother back in 2014 is still humming along some ~11 years later

That core i5-2500k chip, can’t kill it, it just keeps on truckin’ - it’s a tank :+1:

RIP

I had a cheapo power supply go one time so bad it looked like an arc welder going off. I had a spare (after it finished frying) slapped it in there and fired the box up. Amazed that it worked after that display of fireworks. I think it was running Windows 3.1 if not DOS. After that I always get name brand power supplies well rated.

She will be missed.

what did you end up getting?

1TB NVME SSD,
16GB DDR4 RAM 3200,

You should have been there for the one time my tower was overheating. We opened it up to find out what was going on and an AVALANCHE of little puffy bird down feathers poured out. My little parrot would sit on my shoulder and preen while I was gaming and it never occurred to me all the little feathers she dropped were happily getting sucked into the tower’s vent system. :joy:

Tru storii…
