After 7 strenuous years my desktop finally caught on fire

Spent some good days together playing WoW and what not and lasting memories of watching malfurion suffer

Her heart finally gave out

Dunno :woman_shrugging:t5: was playing GW2 then my computer randomly shut off , tried to turn it back and it wouldnt work

Unplugged everything but the power source then tried again, GPU lit up like a Christmas tree

I keep seeing pics of people’s 4080’s frying because of nvidia’s dodgy new power cable connection. Meanwhile my ancient 1080ti is working as good as it did on day 1. Honestly I’m too scared to “upgrade” any part of my PC these days. All the new parts are garbage.

about 2 years ago I jumped from a 2 GB 960 to a 3080, and it’s been night and day since.

Ordered a new desktop , excited and nervous. Never ordered a computer before. Hope it works. It a definite upgrade from what I had

I once had my GPU fry on me after my 20,000 Baal run.

It made this screeching sound on my computer that was so loud.
