Going for loremaster so doing quests in prep for wrath, but I find myself getting nervous about the two quests in desolace named strange alliance and brutal politics. It gives me the impression that they are both chains, but I’m not sure if you are expected to somehow get rep to regain favour so you can go for the other chain.
Be interested to hear from people who have done loremaster before who can tell me if I’m just overthinking it.

Can get Loremaster without wasting time on centaurs, shredding machine manuals, and Green Hills of NOPE NOT GONNA DO THIS IN ANY CHARACTER EVER SINCE 2004-thorn pages.
My understanding is that its based on the # of quests not specific quest chains (at least on EK and Kalimdor), as the achievement itself says “complete X number of quests on Kalimdor” (differs between H and A)
But just as a side note, there is an achieve for this quest too.
They are both chains. I did both because I’m touched in the head. You have to complete one, then activate at war and grind the other centaur clan back to friendly, and then you can do the other one.
You’re only required to do enough quests overall for the achievement. There are no zone specific quest chains required, it’s just a count of total quests in each continent.
I used to do both back in the vanilla days on every character I leveled. My capacity for grinding back then was so much higher.
Just out of curiousity how much would the grind be exactly?
Just buy the pages?
Also there’s achievements to do everything relating to hemit so if you’re an achievement hunter you should do them now before the supply can’t meet the demand.
How much in what way? How much gold or how much time?
It’s actually really short, you get 25 rep a kill and I did it in a few hours at level 60.
You know what that’s actually not that bad think I’ll do that thank you.
That’s why I see a try hards in my lvling zones.
