You can always check the hunter discord. There’s a channel specifically for helping find rare pets. I found them to be extremely helpful in getting Loque’nahak on my alt hunter.

To be clear. You’re not going to fly in there and pick him up. People are circling the area constantly, You are going to have to camp.
I always pick a spot and wait. That’s how you get him.

Got Lucky to get him twice. One was a random find flying around and my 2nd was a short camp. Both were near the black lion.
They’ll be mad hunter pet farming when WotlkC gets released.

Worked like a charm. Got all 3 rares in a day.
Last 2 weeks I was able to tame my second Loque since they got rid of the double pet orb. I also got my second King Krush which is my all time favorite pet. I tamed him and Loque during the old ICC days. My advice what worked for me. Turn on WM and also make sure you have a target macro and just fly by the spawn points every 15 minutes. You’ll get it don’t give up, good luck on your hunt!

Yeah, now you have to be level 50 to make a group finder. I could not use the trail character trick and set my character to warmode, which worked out.

I haven’t posted here in ages but logged in here say THANK YOU and this still works March 2022. Had my hubby make a trial character too to help me make the group/raid, and the rest worked like a charm. I used Wow Progress to find the current lowest pop server. Found Loque right away. Hardest part was doing the server hop shenanigans correctly which being excited out of my mind.

Ok the method of server hopping still works. The biggest thing to remember is to turn OFF warmode on your main toon. If you don’t do this then you won’t phase into the same realm even if in the group.
Still works as of October 2022, thanks for allowing me to quest in Scholozar again without the lingering fear that I’d miss out on Loque
